The people complaining about the price of the virtual ticket forget that its an all-access pass to all the panels and events going on at blizzcon from the comfort of your own home. You limiting yourself to the opening ceremony and wow:whats next panel is more of you problem then a blizzard problem. And those complaining about spending more than 65 dollars in their respective country, blame conversion rates, cause again not a blizzard problem (its 54 dollars if you include tax in USD, which is less than a AAA game and on par with the expansion cost)
Yay! Premium price and I don’t get to rewatch the closing ceremonies if I miss it or the stream craps out again wowee. Hey cool what are you watching? The Lindsey Sterling performance? Let’s rewind… err… no it won’t let me. Oh I’m sure they will post it after it ends. HAHAHAHAH
Replays will be available until March 31, 2020 excluding closing night festivities.
The “BlizzCon” pass on the wendigo costume seems a bit much. Have other past virtual items blatantly advertised their convention?
Yeah. Both mounts(the ships and the bear) have a Blizzcon flag on them.
Yeah, I’m not really annoyed by the yeti pajamas so much as I am by the hypocrisy of introducing yeti pajama transmog after telling us we can’t mog holiday items out of season.
If they put a restriction like that on something people paid money for, without warning them about it, I think there would be a justifiable outcry.
Do we get this stuff immediately or do we have to wait until Blizzcon?
Do CMs get free passes to Blizzcon in person every year? I’d assume yes, right?
you showcased a phone game as the centerpiece of a pc gaming convention last time. fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice…
nah, i’ll hold on to my money this year and wait, bruv
The WoW stuff is available today; I think the SC skins too. The other games’ goodies are gated until BlizzCon.
If a rep from Blizzard would let us know, I would spend the money on the ticket but I just don’t trust them not to do something like that. It would be super easy just to say “can be mogged all year round” on the sale page.
Cool! I don’t think I would have done it if it was just for the WoW stuff, but I have SC 2, Diablo 3, and Overwatch and I play all of them so that made a $50 worth it for me.
For once, demon slaver, I thank you.
Don’t get used to it
I think it’s sad that we’ve reached such a mistrust of Blizzard that unless they spell everything out in detail, we assume there’s a “gotcha” waiting to be revealed after we spend our money.
Yep. Completely agree.
Aaand purchased. As I have every year. It’s tradition.
Cute pets this year!
I asked this on another thread and it was confirmed that if you buy a physical or virtual ticket that they are available permanently.
I never saw anything as amazing in FFXIV as I saw in Aion. OMG… To have my transmogs from Aion available in WoW, I would pay obscene amounts of money. This completely reminds me of the cuter side of Aion transmogs.
When is the schedule being posted? That will determine if the virtual ticket is worth it or not.
Soon™.
