BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket

Did you see the Illidari Symmetra and Genji skins? They look so good

No way in hell id pay that price for those items. Ill watch a livestream of the event if it takes place outside of work hours.

Even with a mount…$70 is like a CE version of a AAA game.

They are getting pretty damn greedy imo.

They are good, and to be fair, unique skins like that are expensive on their own, let alone coupled with all of this other content. This past years OW Lucio and Mercy Skins were 200 League points which is about $15-20 -each- depending on where you are.
This kinda feels like they have a high price because they know people will pay it. It was really bad last year, but at least they have a good amount of content this year to justify the price.

70$ i assume you are canadian like me. cause its only 50$ for americans. wich in that case a sub is 20$

So idk what world you live in, but 70$ is not 6 months of wow sub, thats 3 and a half for canadians, and even for americans thats only 4 and a half to almost 5.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pay the higher fee but I almost always buy it. I missed the year that they had the Alliance and Horde mounts cause I wasn’t playing, but this year I’m playing so I figured I’d go all in with it.

where are you getting tripple A games for 70$? i would love to know, i just bought sword and shield and it cost me 90$ each.

?, Many twitch streams and youtube gaming streams show it live every year.

$80 in NZ, which is more than 90% of new and better games cost at this point. As an aside, character boosts cost $95, which is just a product of ludicrous greed.

It really has become beyond ridiculous for a stream and a handful of random cosmetic items, especially when you can watch free re-streams beginning mere minutes after the start of the official ones if all you want is to watch Blizzard advertising to you.

Reading the comment you reply to helps. Yes i will be doing that for free as stated before.

who tf are you? I replied to Ravenmayne telling me the content I am talking about is a week-old re-run…

Troll, we need more furry outfits.

Nah. Then they would have put a 5 minute use and a 1 hour cooldown on it or even werse.

3 months is $53 and 6 months is $100 in Canadian, BFA is $75. I have no complains against conversion rates. Prices of new games are a little high tho. This Virtual ticket has maybe 3-4 hours of content for me but I’m paying the amount I paid for the new game Greedfall and I’ve plugged 30 hours into it and I’m not even done. There is a discrepancy in that enjoyment/money spent ratio between these 2 things that I feel is unfair. Let me buy just the ticket, I want to pay for it, but only if its like $20-25 like it was before they started giving out these virtual incentives.

Blizz: No you can’t transmog into that, it will ruin other players’ immersion and it would just be SILLY!

Also Blizz: YETI ONESIE ! Now give us money!

Yeah, it’s damn annoying. I would love to mog the flower crowns all year but it’s too silly. I wouldn’t be surprised if the yeti suit can only be mogged around anniversary time.

Nothing in the game is sillier than this yeti nonsense.

They better be removing restrictions on flower crowns and what not.

I live in a world called “Australia” :stuck_out_tongue:

A 6-month WoW subscription here costs $85.80 in our “Monopoly money” (hah!) so yes, the virtual ticket price is creeping up to that same level.

A brand new AAA game bought at retail outlets (Amazon etc) is usually $68.

Look, I’m not bagging out anyone who wants to buy the virtual ticket - it’s your money and you can spend it however you like. But I know I’m not alone in feeling that the price Blizzard puts on this 2-day live stream is a bit excessive, especially in this era of video game companies live-streaming everything for free and almost begging you to watch.

There is indication that there is a quest coming this next Nobelgarden that will let us wear the hats year round… but it’s a limitation they placed in the first place. I mean sure, new quests for holidays are fun but if its just to remove the restriction on 1 holidays tmog they placed in the first place… eh.

As a lot of Americans tend to forget, we aren’t actually the center of the universe, nor the only country in the world.
