Or remaster D2 and reboot the story from there when making new expansions. Leaving D3 as an alternate universe Diablo.
never considered that, but that would be preferable to the story moving on from D3 IMO
We can expect a new wow expansion, diablo 4, and probably a new overwatch map/hero. As someone who goes to Blizzcon, just being there is exciting a lot of fun. Hands down my favorite convention. And with the 25th anniversary for Warcraft it will be a good one to attend for WoW fans.
Im sorry. This made me laugh
I expect 2 game titles (one being Diablo 4, none of that immortal stuff) + 1 wow expansion to be announced.
They don’t, these salt mines of people most likely dont attend Blizzcon or even buy the virtual ticket (not saying all of them, just a majority) its just salt and drama for salt and dramas sake. A group that so desperately wants Blizzard to fail while trying to fly inder the flag of “No, were just giving feedback and want them to succeed”
Its just a group of pettiness, salt, and hate.
This is so true. There are so many people that just say. I am here to provide feedback, but just come in to bash Blizzard to watch a company fall mostly because they don’t agree with what Blizzard and already gave up and quit or they got in trouble for breaking the rules and don’t want to admit they did something dumb and got caught.
I can see it now.
D2 Fallen Angels: The angels seeing one of their own sacrificed himself to protect Sanctuary now believe that they themselves should protect sanctuary. But some angels do not. This sparks an angel war.
D2 Resurrection: One of the un-corrupted shard of the World Stone has been found but it was found by the enemy first. Many devils and demons have been resurrected before you could recover it. With the last ounce of its power you manage to resurrect a dead angel.
D2 The First Nephilim: Sanctuary has begun to fall apart without the power of the World Stone. The heroes must seek out the tomb of the first nephilim hoping that it may contain a answer to save Sanctuary.
Sure, why not. Being disappointed with a lack of substantive content for the various franchises I have historically enjoyed is just saltiness for the sake of saltiness. Giving critical feedback for a game I pay an active subscription for on top of the game price is just hateful and petty. You’re right Byucknah, no complaints are valid and everything is fine.
I am nothing but a spiteful and hateful human being for addressing the ever encroaching sense that I am being extorted for cash.
/golfclap
to be fair, I’m saltier than the ocean
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an “MVP” post something without sounding patronizing and condescending.
Suggestions and feedback are great and it helps, but most of the time, when I see feedback, It’s more about whining about something not working the way they want it and there is nothing constructive about the feedback or suggestion.
Not all is bad and I have seen some good ones from time to time, but when people don’t see their ideas not get addressed, they get salty and then make rants and complaints on the forums and then say, they are quitting and that is mostly just a sign of people giving up and not wanting to adapt to changes.
Incidentally, instead of hyperbolic rhetoric, you can actually verify who has and has not purchased virtual tickets through their achievements’ Promotion section.
If I cared more I would so be going there to ask wth is up with Derek Proudmoore having a body. Someone there better ask that.
Why does that matter? Who cares how many people buy it or who goes? Let them enjoy going for their own reasons. No need to shun those people who go for the enjoyment of playing the games Blizzard made. Some people are ok with what they have made so far, why ruin that for them?
Would be like shunning a 40 year old for going to Disneyland because they are old while the place is mostly designed for kids.
When people quack like a duck, walk like a duck, swim like a duck…get called ducks.
Its funny when they get mad.
There is a rather large group of forum posters that actively talk about how they haven’t had a sub for months/years. They are just here to give feedback (on what exactly, since they haven’t played in forever?) and to follow the game to see if it gets any better.
But those people do nothing besides constantly complain, troll, and initiate arguments. They almost never offer anything worthwhile. Those are the people being referenced.
They will get fake outraged over a blizzcon virtual ticket reward, when they never had any intention of purchasing it to begin with…for example.
I can’t see where they’ve done anything to justify the increase.
Semper Fi!
I totally was ready to report this thread as clickbait/trolling. But it’s true. Magni save us all.
My first thought is they must feel obligated to do it yearly now regardless of product announcements because they have eSports events associated with it. If they don’t have a playable D4 on the floor I fear many tables will be flipped.
YAY! I WIN!
I saw the Blizzcon announcement, and thought “I will bet someone has already complained about it in the forum – someone has already used it to create a thread bad-mouthing Blizzard”.
And I won!
I think its silly to pay them money for a virtual ticket so that they can advertise to you.
