I haven’t seen anywhere what the plan for launch is outside of the launch times. I know when the game goes live but is there going to be a down time? If so how long? Is it going to be like phases where the game doesn’t go down and they turn it on? What is the plan for tomorrow? Will I be able to be online and at launch time a boat will pull up to the harbor and off we go to Northrend?

Blizzard hasn’t said anything about tomorrow, but they DO have a message in the login screen about 1 hour maintenance on Tuesday now.
So the assumption is that tomorrow will be a seamless launch. Boats and Zeps will become available at 3 PM with no downtime.

I’m guessing they have some stuff written up and will post it to go with launch.
I doubt they’ll be able to focus on anything but damage control when it launches.
Launch will be seamless, boats and zepps will crash within 10 min, queues will be 10k long.

Technically, they did say the plan for Monday when they announced the launch times for everyone.
In the absence of any mention of Monday downtime, my assumption is that there will be NO downtime. It’ll be seamless.
I can’t wait for the queue screenshots to start rolling in. It’s going to be such a dumpster fire, and it probably will be all week long.

yeah but I’m asking if there is any planned downtime prior to launch time. I know what the launch time is… I need to know if when I get off work will the servers be down or will they be up and we will be waiting for launch? Do I turn in my dailies today? Do I save them to turn them in at launch tomorrow because the servers will be down before launch?
Wouldn’t it be cool if Blizzard’s launch plans and my lunch plans were the same?
No, there is no planned downtime. They will flip the switch at 3pm.
Expect not to be able to log in for several hours if not a day or 2 Kiraozu.
