Duh… No kidding. Of course.
Who are you even talking about?
You do know that beta is basically a prepared version of the game for things that need testing by a mass of players, right? It’s not a gift, a reward or even just a early look. Most of any beta is buggy and incomplete and the beta TESTERS are there to try to break it more and report. It’s like a quality control inspector job with no pay.
Everything you do in beta will be wiped out when Live happens. Sure you may know where to go and what to do on day 1 but this is classic - most of us were there 15 years ago. I played a minute of the demo from Blizzcon and realized from today’s perspective, classic was pretty lousy. When we started, we didn’t know any better so we played the crap out of it. The thought of running up and down the Barrens on foot for one of those ping-pong quest chains gives me a headache today. Back then, I cluelessly ran back and forth and I lieked it.
No thanks, you can’t pay me to play classic beta.
Too many people care about the prestige of playing in a Beta (LOL) than actually participating in a Beta as a tester.
yeah I am upset that Blizzard would choose people that have attacked them relentlessly for years get a key while a guy like myself that has played nearly 15 years straight, does good video’s and streams WOW pretty regularly did not.
Why wouldnt I be upset about it?

Blizzard doesn’t need you to be offended on their behalf…also I don’t know these streamers but I’m guessing you’re exaggerating juuust a little

If anyone’s praying for the fall of Blizzard I think its more in the hopes of it being a wake up call rather then out of spite. Sure I’m annoyed that it’s not the same we used to know and love, but I don’t think anyone WANTS them to fail.

No but you should get a key. Blizzard did say themselves they wanted original players to get beta for accuracy.

Agreed, I’ve been in several betas for wow, for BFA I was an alpha tester, it’s not that big of a deal, you report the bugs, and you have a little fun. I didn’t test BFA all that much because I couldn’t stand the new UI at the time.

This is exactly it. People see this as some sort of prestigious thing and want to be able use it as a feather in their cap. Not a single person who’s started these threads had said that they want to get in because they played in classic and really wanna help get out the bugs. It’s a bunch of " whine whine cry, subscribed for fifteen years, cry cry whine, f streamers, bawl whine sob, slap in the face, sob whine whine"
Doesn’t seem to be any animosity when I watch some of those very streamers interview Blizzard developers. They are all very complimentary, seem very respectful of each other and respect each other’s jobs.
