Then you get my point about this.
Its two parts.
Part 1: Don’t give haters the platform, there are tons of upstarts more than willing to replace them.
Part 2: People that have played original wow are sought after for feedback. Even Blizzard stated that they want original players that played Classic in this Beta.
Well… I qualify for both. At least I have always kept my critique and reportng of WOW game play on stream and youtube classy.
So do you think every subscriber from the beginning that still playing now should get a key?
Well Blizzard said that’s what they wanted.
So, it’s about you, not the streamers. Point taken. But, hopefully, you’ll get your chance soon.
So again, since your didn’t get a key, no original wow players got a key?
They also said it’s a very small beta. So, we won’t all fit, but maybe stress tests will give us a chance.
Did they? They said they want every single player who played the original game who is still subscribed now to get a key?
Show me. If they said that I’ll shut up and eat my crow.
A typical critique from a sheep that think “BFA sucks” is too harsh is probably “Classic is good”, “You’re doing great”, “You never disappoint”.
Are you saying there’s a problem with that?
Honestly I would hope many if not most did. Original Classic players are getting rare.
I haven’t received a beta invite, and I’ve played since Classic on this account. I remember Captain Placeholder in Menethil Harbor and Captain Noteo in Darkshore. I also have no desire to retread the past and didn’t sign up for the beta. Am I angry with Blizzard that they didn’t give me access? Not in the slightest.
Rather I hope those who want classic enjoy it, and I hope Blizzard sometime considers adding it to Retail via a Caverns of Time portal. That would definitely fix the time-line / leveling issues quite nicely. The Cataclysm game world is nice, but I haven’t leveled a low-level character since Cataclysm except for my Monk, and that was a lot of dungeons more than anything else.
I dont get the hype for the beta. Everyone and their mom played Vanilla WoW and we know what it’s gonna be like.

That’s not the point she is saying people. She is saying so much for the RNG aspect for the whole thing and none the less give it to these streamers YOU DO NOT need this much hype for this game its classic wow people the only MMO that dominated EVERYONE is coming back but instead they give a chance to these streamers who are not even like 30 years old a bunch of wrath babies and TBC kids and some of us who been here and made account IN vanilla we get nothing. Keep it classic Bliz!
Are none of these streamers people who played back in vanilla WoW…?
Just because they said they want original players doesn’t mean they can invite literally every player who played vanilla. There are a lot of people who played in vanilla, not just you.
I got mine last night @9:45 PM. I am not a streamer.

Didn’t make it exclusive for a reason. I just said it wasn’t very large.
You’ve waited this long – all these years. You can’t wait 3 1/2 months longer?
Also – yes, they want feedback from actual Vanilla players; that makes sense. But I’ll bet you they also need feedback from those of us who weren’t so lucky as to play back then.
P.S. No, I haven’t opted in to the Classic beta. I want very much to try Classic, but I don’t want to put blood, toil, tears, and sweat into even one character that’s just going to go “poof” at the end of the beta.
I mean I have gotten almost every beta for the last few expansions. I am noone special. I just dont think its really that thought out because while I got a beta for BFA, I didnt use it. I wanted to play it once it became live.
Congrats? I didn’t get BFA beta until mid way through? I think you’re over thinking this.

LOL That is EXACTLY what I was saying.
