There is no disconnect, lol. I’ve been raiding and doing mythic dungeon tours. Granted, both are only 6/10 normal, but I’ve been putting forth effort at everything except m+ dungeons (which I despise).
Not falling for that Believe or not, it’s no skin off my nose. My point still stands though, the person I quoted had just the amount of gear they should have doing the content that they are doing. Let’s discuss that.
Unless you aren’t here for a discussion and are only here to stir up controversy.
Uh huh. Spoken like someone who can’t back up what they are saying which is completely hypocritical to the point they were making when talking about someone else posting from their ‘main character’ as well.
If calling out bad faith posters like yourself who could easily back up their point by changing what they are posting on is ‘stiring up controversy’ then I think you should go back to twitter.
Yep, you are here not to have an actual discussion at the topic at hand and would instead prefer to attack people instead of the idea. You are definitely not interested in debate or discussion at all.
Less loot translates into less activities. I log on and there’s nothing I’m interested in. I think we’re supposed to be farming anima but what for? So I can unlock a mission table, shortcuts and slow currency farming for mogs? I certainly don’t log on just to play my mission table, I log on to acquire gear, but nothing rewards it except for pvp. And we all love pvp don’t we.
Earning loot and having random drops are antithetical.
If you actually believed what you just said then you’d remove absolutely every loot drop from every boss / dungeon and hand out currency from them to every player who participated. This currency would then be exchangeable for items of various stats/level/slot and various prices. Then we could work towards specific items without having randomness creep in. That would be fair, skill based, and functional.
Since loot is random the only proper thing to do is keep the drop rate at BFA levels, and boost the max ilvl scaling in M+ to cap out at mythic ilvl at, say, a +20 or +22 (or whatever keystone level).
This right here, I would rather have a currency system and be able to set a clear goal for myself and then work towards that goal, rather than just having dumb luck and getting a random drop.
