You’re getting gear so you can play the game.
Without the gear, you can’t play the game, not really. You’re at a measurable disadvantage.
Yeah you can queue for 2s/3s and pump em to catch up. Specifically i’m more referring to flying around doing crates or PvE quests or crafting or whatever just to gain access to the thing you would rather be doing, which is bad design
