Blizzard, you didn't learn anything from dragonflight weapon enchants

I prefer these, unless you have tacos?

It doesn’t help my complete lack of confidence, but cat videos make me forget all about my complete lack of confidence for a while

Why? Just because? Why would they design something that doesn’t work? Just to waste time?

Specs are specs, not everything should be useful, why? Just because. No particular reason.

Some specs might scale better with different things. Everything has a use, with some things obviously being more useful than others. A prime example would be the cheap enchants in dragonflight, not only are there cheap versions of the enchants, there is an entire specialization based upon being better at making those cheap enchants.

Why do they exist? Because they would be better than nothing at all.

Tuning is a separate issue. Stat procs are

Scaling better with certain things is different than something being useless always because it’s badly designed.

Prime example that i already said, any devotion enchant that are not wafting or sophic.

And it doesn’t take a genius to understand why.

As for the people saying that a random damage proc is better than stats that actually may do something for the spec, the argument is so dumb that it’s beneath consideration.

It’s like saying nothing is better than something that could be good, or neutral. Yea no. The idea doesn’t even pass the straight face test, and you should be embarrassed of making such points.

This one?

Yes, there is a part of the video where he shows the enchants.

The ring enchants are actually really neat, the problem is the weapon enchants.

Scaling and stat values matter.

Doesn’t take a genius to know that, considering despite the presence of things like Trinkets and Embellishments having procs managing to outweigh stat procs on more than one occasion over multiple seasons, there are plenty of situations where a flat main stat proc might not be the best choice. Historically, there were also weapon enchants where the damage proc gained extra value based upon the spec interacting with that damage type which made a competitive with stat enchants

The shatter and the insight to get a rank three was extra annoying lol. I’ve spent hours grinding and not looting orbs but magically there are a never ending quantity for sale on the auction house.

They like to reinvent the wheel. Besides that, they need to reinvent it, because they laid off the people who are familiar with how it was originally invented.

Be thankful you got weapon enchants.

To be honest, weapon enchants would probably be more interesting if they just got rid of the Primary Stat enchant and made the others scale a bit harder.

The funniest thing about this thread is that shadowflame was one of the strongest embellishments from when it was introduced.

They could make damage proc enchants compelling and powerful with a little more effort, which is why this thread is a nothingburger. We have no idea what the numbers of the enchants will look like at max level.

I swear forum dwellers will find something to complain about. Without fail.

I’m going to complain about you complaining about others complaining.

Complain-ception.

Please correct me if i’m wrong on this thread …OP wants to wine because they can’t have it their way and be catered to because they think their experience is more important than the rest of us who are completely satisfied for the most part with how things are going. So since other people have decided to try and turn the thread into a usefull conversation, the OP is just getting more in a twist because everyone else is seeing the reality of the non-issue. Sounds like someone needs to learn the concept of … there is so much in the game that if you don’t like enchantments, don’t use them. You can get by with out them and still enjoy the game. Me personally, my goal is get all the mounts, get all the pets, enjoy random dungeons, and get one of every class to max level. Oh, and max out all professions eventually. Oooo, and catch every rare creature for my hunter to use as a pet. Oh oh oh, and dabble into pvp, which i usually come out in the top 5 for kills and assists(with out having a single thing enchanted i might add) for petes sake, this is a game that is trying to cater to well over 50k people, what in your right mind makes you think everything is gonna be perfect and there are not gonna be flubs here and there. Plus you are complaining about something in Alpha release, most of that non of us are going to experience, and almost the entire game will be changed before Beta drops. Quit crying wolf and accept that the people playing Alpha are going to log things and give their play opinions to blizzard like they are supposed to. Ugh, please quit doom crying, and please learn how to link your sources into chat like a normal person that wants to have a discussion and not a tempertantrum.

Just as always, we’ll see!

We’ll see who was right.

Just like when people told me that explosive was completely fine as an affix, and it wasn’t, just like how people told me that adding combo point to blade flurry would be op, and it wasn’t and it actually feels great, just like when people told me that adding lava lash to elemental assault would be unneeded and “too strong” we’ll see, just like how i have a pretty good track record of being right, and you don’t. WE’LL SEE.

It’s an optional enchantment. Don’t want to use it, then don’t.
