Yea, which is why they were never used ever in dragonflight aside frozen for half a patch. The idea of a damage proc being “better gameplay” that getting stats which have an effect on your rotation is also ridiculous. But hey, i noticed that people don’t actually think anyway, they just make points to make an argument, even if it’s stupid.
Akston, you’re annoying me for something that is easy to google, you know how to use google right? You put dratnos in the search bar, and you look up the video called new embellishments, which is the first.
If you have a hate bone for wow youtubers that’s not my issue, that’s yours.
This will be the last time ill talk about this thing to you.
Its about having everyone on the same page in the conversation.
You expect every single person participating to go use google to find a specific video you are referencing. You claim its so easy and fast to do. But if you just did it yourself, for everyone. It would ensure everyone is on the same page.
Thats how mature discussion happens.
As long as stats enchants still exist, whats the issue? You get what you want, others get some flare that are occasionally useful.
As a healer, I did not use the stat enchant 100% of the time, even late into the expansion.
I haven’t seen the alpha enchants yet. But they did dog on enchanting hard in DF. I hope they don’t continue that in TWW. I might need to find another profession.
Yep and there’s nothing wrong with them imo.
I’ve read every article, blue post, and watched every video about alpha so far excluding a few of belluar bc he sucks.
Weapon enchants took a rare drop to make. It sucked. We also had a lot of recipes for temporary things that no one would ever use. It just lacked any sort of real value. If you bought titan orbs off of the AH because they wouldn’t drop, you could sometimes be paying more than you could sell your enchants for. I gave up.
It’s because people are single-focused morons. It’s like if scientists invented something super cool that may have future ramifications toward (insert anything good), you will have some of these smooth-brains complaining about “why waste time on that and not on curing cancer?!” when there are a ton of people already working on that.
They want what they want, and everyone else is in their way.
I remember back in the day getting shield spikes and thinking that was neat. Too bad you never saw them on your shield. I think shield enchants would be of 2 camps. Reflect damage (thorns/spikes/etc), and deflect damage. There’s not much more to it.
Enchants are enchants. Not every one of them is useful, even if every enchant was a damage proc or if every enchant was a stat proc, there will always be a “best” choice depending on spec and gear.
