Blizzard, you can decrease your operating expenses!

With this one simple trick(ok 3 tricks), all other game companies will hate you!

All NA Realms → Pagle, Mankrik, Benediction, Faerlina, and Whitemane.

Wait for the dust to settle… Merge all remaining servers onto one set of hardware as connected realms with cross server guilds/grouping and a single AH.

Shut down like 100 servers and tell Amazon to stick it.

Amazon’s game is already dead.

If any MMO is taking over it will be FF14 New xpac tomorrow (Endwalker).

The AH thing is absolutely required. Being on a low-pop server is manageable (done so for years on FarStriders before the connected realms where a thing) but a dead AH really makes the playing miserable.

I wary of high-pop server as you can’t farm anything when population is too high
But eventually it will need to be done for sure.

Amazon is who they are paying for compute capacity, has nothing to do with new world…

Nerdulla - with layers its actually easier to farm

Yep I posted this earlier, but the ‘community’ bs argument is dead. Our servers are so dead that there is no one left. No players, no communities.

It’s a lot more sad to see your guild and friends quit due to lack of activity than to not recognize one annoying mage in IF or some spammer in the chat and spew bs about realm ‘community’.

If they are going to merge us up then they better let us keep character names. I have thousands of hours clocked into my characters. Why should they lose a name to a guy that unsubbed a year earlier or has the name jacked on an abandoned 25 alt?

I’ll leave FFXIV to all the furries and anime tweens.

they are already in the same database … and has been since sharding was added to the game. So no it would not decrease anything

Sounds like a train wreck and the end of classic. This is a terrible idea.

thats why they would do it as connected realms

Magicblunt - do you even play wow? it’s the only logical way to breath life into those that refuse to move
