You need to look into the news that affects the region, and look for answers.
Did the company managing Blizzards servers change?
Did the ISP providing bandwidth increase rates?
Where there any government regulations involved?
And so on…
And since we’re talking about several countries, you could be compensating for an increase Blizzard incurred in South America.
There’s a reason, Blizzard will likely not be forthcoming about it, but it’s there. And no, it’s not just to “grab cash”.

Australian dollar has been at the same point for years, Australian dollar is higher than other countries who did not receive a price Hike, Has literally nothing to do with the dollar.
And the standard of living in Australia is exponentially better than the US, and you pay less for your WoW sub.
