When the Australian dollar (Hint a large part of your oceanic community) Did better than the Greenback, The yankee doodle, The Yank… Whatever you want to call your currency, You hiked up our local store prices for in-game shop stuff.
And now this? The most tone deaf thing of all you hiked up sub costs for Australians for NO REASON no Transparency nothing right after announcing massive profits.
We’ve paid the same sub fee the entire time the game has been launched, If you want to pull that argument then when during 2012 our sub fee’s should of gone down when the AUD was worth 1.2 AMERICAN dollars but it remained the same and our PRICES actually went up.
Pretty much yeah. I’m curious if this is coming from an actual Australian or if coming from someone just looking to try and start something on the forums for attention since most of the Aussies I know don’t really care about the price change for this very reason.
They just call it the Kangaroo Tax and laugh it off.
And brazillians pay less than US players, And Greeks pay less than us players, And russians pay less than us players, Does that make the argument any less valid? NO because there are different economic standpoints. Price of living is VASTLY different.
Most of the countries that pay less than US are not first world countries, or have other issues (like internet censorship cough Russia cough) that contribute to the lower cost.
Or are you trying to tell me Australia is a third world country?
