Blizzard should add High Elven Paladins to Void Elves like they added Highborne Mages to Night Elves

VEs already got a second visual theme at the expense of BEs visual uniqueness. Why are you trying to have a scenario where we compromise Paladin so VEs can get something else as if VEs didn’t just hugely infringe on Blood Elves to afford them a second visual theme.

If BEs got druids I’d want Alliance to get Night Elf paladin, but I am not too pressed either way I am fine w Horde being the elf paladin class combo and Alliance the Elf druid combo.

Usually would not suggest this but since this is blatant spam let me offer some advice. If you oppose the thread’s suggestion do not post in thread at all. A thread cannot survive on just agreement.

Imagine thinking visual appearance matters in this game. it’s all about the numbers you pull and you enjoying the game. Even more so now with cross faction being a thing at this point every race should have every class because it Doesn’t matter the slightest.

And the next two classes that should be for every race is Shaman and Paladin since they make the most sense.

the problem is you cant use visual themes as an excuse to deny classes to velfs, as that means blizz can never give velfs new classes without denying them to belfs. its silly.

true. these troll threads usually die off within 400 posts now a days

another true statement. saying we dont have playable high elf paladins is as dumb as saying azeroth is flat

I think Void Elves should have the option to get a paladin.
It should be a book they can learn.

It Should be sold from a vendor with no faction in a little chapel that looks incredible as a clear Void Elf paladin named “Void the voidy Void elf” for 10 million gold.
Not 9,999,999.99.99 10 million.

And every time the cap raises the book costs cap+1 copper.

And the entire chapter should be full of Void Elves on their knees crying for eternity.

It’s so weird that you guys are always trying to trade things. >.>

we can request things from Blizzard. We can’t barter with you for Blizzard.

he means the technical, legal term “high elf”. we already know belfs are helfs. but on the ui, they are listed as “blood elf” paladins. he’s saying we’ve never had legal term “high elf” paladins. if they drew from the high elf wayfarers in the telogus rift, who are not velfs yet but who have allied with velfs for the purpose of studying the void, they could use the legal term “high elf” paladin without being a velf, legally. this would require the system to run a check list if you’ve selected only high elf features, at which point paladin would be a class option and your racials would revert to something else non void related. you’d lose your velf racials.

Yeah. I’m talking about Blizzard’s description of High Elves.

Not the Blood Elf forum fans description of High Elves. They’re using a personal definition.

And no forsaken holy priests….wait a minute…

No, Vareesa is not neutral. Vareesa does not want anything to do with the Horde, nor will interact with the Horde.

This does not mean that Void Elves should receive Paladins.

Void Elves are technically High Elves, just infused with the Void.

Technically speaking, any Void Elf priest lorewise, would be Shadow. They wouldn’t be Holy.

Yeah, but the mods aren’t going to do anything unless the community reports it.

Problem is, all Paladins spells are light based. So in order to make it Void based, then it will mean completely changing the class around as well as the lore of the class.

Um, sorry to disappoint you here, but the green eyes were a result actually of the radiation effected from the demonic magics used to power Silvermoon City, and being around the Fel in Outlands. But unlike Void, Fel doesn’t have the same negative effect towards the Light.

No, but lore can be used to deny classes towards the Void Elves, if it goes completely against the lore.

But how does a Paladin work for them then if they’re there to study the Void Magic? They aren’t there to worship the light.

I’ll give them $20 for a race change if they do

Can’t void elves be priests?

Yes, they can, but technically lorewise, they would be shadow priest. It is gameplay mechanics to be able to pick as Disc or Holy priest.

Light does have negative effects on fel, what are you even on.

Also Lore has no standing power in this game so try not to use lore as a Defense.

By that definition high elves do not exist in game.
Full stop.

Either high elves exist, and high elf paladin exist, and have since tbc.

Or they don’t exist, are not playable by players.

Either way, there is no void elf paladins. There will never be void elf paladins. The void is the opposite of everything a Palin stands for. A paladin is a champion of the light not a death knight. Not a void knight. A champion of the light.

You chose the void. There’s consequences to those actions.

my suggestions, which i admit may just be the ramblings of an old mmorpger, is to develop a story arc in which veressa injected some of the helf wayfarers to spy on the void situation as she is worried about the well being of her sister, alleria, and doesnt trust the void
