Blizzard ruining Phase 2 by leaving SSC/TK on PTR this long

All the excitement is gone and everyone has already cleared all of ssc/tk on the PTR. Blizzard once again ruined the game.

False.

Not everyone has cleared ssc and tk on the ptr prime example I never did as dint bother to copy as can wait for it. Also know many that have just did random pugs on there and never killed the final bosses that are still quite difficult for pugs.

Problem with absolutes you make your point vary easy to make incorrect and as such worthless.

Monkeys paw for you.

Blizzard listens to your feedback and appreciates your input. Effective immediately PTR no longer available to the masses.

PTR should have been for a week only. Giving guilds this much time to practice for launch is ruining the smallest sliver of competition and fun that pve had to offer. Close PTR and give us T5 next week.

Kinda wish they had stuck with what they did for Naxx where they buffed everyones damage by a huge amount so mechanics could be easily tested by everyone, but couldnt exploit the PTR for ‘practice’

On one hand yea that would have been ideal. But on the other
raiding on the PTR is one of the only things I’ve actually enjoyed in-game over the last few weeks lol
Plus this will be way better on my bank. I agree, it will make the “world/server 1st” progression ranks pretty much a joke, though I’m not sure anyone still cares about those in the first place.

Blizzard took the last little bit of competition left and ruined it by leaving T5 on PTR for over a month. The majority of guilds already did their “progression” on PTR. Such a waste Blizzard!

There is no such thing as competition in pve, just retarded epeen waving

Far far from the “majority.”

Most likely far from the majority,

but the OP has a point! the raids should have only been open a couple days on the PTR, just like it used to be back in the days.
They should have released P2 about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

They are leaving it on for this long because you cant even kill the last boss most of the times due to glitches lol

PvE competitions are a thing. They’re a bit weird and very few raids participate, but its definitely a thing because its a way to keep themselves motivated. I’m glad I dont partake, but I wont judge (unless they wave it in peoples faces).

Some of the cheese tactics they exploit are certainly lame though. Wasn’t at all a fan of vanilla strats with comical class stacking and the excessive lengths gone to skip trash. Things like invis stacking to one-shot Faerlina’s room were pretty cool tho.

Yeah i dont understand the excessive lengths of PTR testing for 15 yr old content. They could easily release it after a few weeks of testing and hotfix anything they missed later. They’re just lazy & understaffed tbh.

Yeah, I agree, leaving the content up this long does take something away. My guild has been going in there on our regular raid night after our 25 mans because what else is there to do? I’m sure a lot of guilds have been doing this. We haven’t been going in 3 or 4 nights like some guilds to perfect it either.

As nice as it is to “progress with no cost”/go in with free consumes etc it’s going to kind of make phase 2 not as fun IMO.

100% agree. The excitement of p2 has already been experienced on PTR. P2 won’t even be “new” anymore by the time it releases.

I tried to set up a PTR SSC raid this week and my guild told me no

They said they want the element of surprise. I’m sure there are many others out there like that!

Have to agree.

The raids really should only be tested internally. Giving everyone the option to go in and practice as much as they’d like really does kill the excitement of world/server firsts.

Isn’t that just the authentic original experience?

Lol people think it’s normal for their guild to raid on PTR

World second* first

You mean what priv servers already do and we have had years to practice them. There are many priv servers vary close to ptr and even if not exact its close enough to do the job. TBC is not a secret its content that the answers have already been known for awhile.
