THere is no value to a digital monkey in comparison to human life . Anyone that thinks people getting Bananas for the charity event devalues theirs has their life priorities screwed up .

A different digital pet wouldn’t devalue an existing digital pet .
If anyone is putting a monetary value on a digital pet which even if you paid actual money for is still Blizzard property . You quit WoW it doesn’t come with you.
At least if and when I leave WoW the money I spent to get for my Bananas is going directly to a worthy charity and not directly into Blizzards coffers.
Then you can give me yours and I don’t have to keep making tickets to get mine if it was only about charity to you.
I already had the pet and I claimed mine like everyone else when ti was announced. I now have a second.

Mine arrived immediately. If you’re looking for a “gift box” in your pet list, it’s worth mentioning mine wasn’t “gift boxed”. It just appeared in my pet list.

So? Let others like us who missed out on it enjoy something nice. It’s a virtual pet after all - virtual 0’s and 1’s on a screen, it has no real value except maybe personal value to you only. And when WoW shuts down one day, its all gone. The pet, your character, your mounts, all of it.
