For all we know maybe they brought it up with upper management whom did nothing.
They probably didn’t understand the nature of their job and the necessary communication is “yall need to fix this before the state bends us over.”

I don’t know what to say about all of this… I haven’t been this disgusted since experiencing Shadowlands.
And this is why you never cater to the woke crowd. They’re not your audience, they will never be satisfied and the moment you don’t give them total control, the slander begins.
for all we know, she may have been complicit.
Yes, a person who has been harrassed would totally then be complicit
I call this
“If Donald Trump had a bigger vocabulary and wrote a response from Blizzard”
That user better be an attorney because if they aren’t, they’re going to be in trouble. They didn’t want to identify themselves (and rightly so) but Blizzard has their billing info and knows exactly who they are. If they decided to look up on this and this person lied about being an attorney, they’re going to find their little troll to be very expensive.
Also, the claim that States would never file a suit without evidence should tell you a lot about this user’s credibility.
I hear they have a game director who is a lawyer.
there editing posts they don’t like now idc as a girl what can i say about this company lol. imagine paranoids like some of you thinking everything is a lie sad so sad keep sticking up for them as always
I’ve seen plenty of pro blizzard trolls making medical and psychiatric diagnoses on the forums that everybody who disagrees with them is mentally ill. Are they going to come down on them, or is that the message the company wants readers to get, that blizzard supports the diagnosis of mental illness by its supporters?
For…offering their opinion on Blizzard’s statement? I doubt it.
They…what? The disclaimer at the end where they say they’re not giving legal advice covers them, and they weren’t doing any advising anyway. Just offering their opinion on why what they were saying could have unintended consequences. They weren’t saying that they were going to sue, or offering to help people sue. I can’t even imagine what the problem would be.
Blizzard’s own statement said that they cooperated with the investigation and gave the state access to their internal records.
As someone who’s known business owners who got railroaded by unelected state bureaucrats who are on a power trip, I’m not going to condemn Blizzard until the case is made. I knew a daycare owner who the local licensing coordinator had it in for and got cited for “numerous choking hazards” because a kid had spilled their cheerios while the inspector was doing a walkthrough for the cereal on the ground and those citations kept coming until they went out of business because she did “surprise” inspections every week whereas she never visited any other center more than quarterly.
It’s not so odd when on the other side is one of the largest economies in the world who already does gleefully wring its residents out because they make the laws to do so.
Unelected bureaucrats who wield tremendous power and are almost impossible to remove do not care about you any more than Blizzard executives do and they are even less answerable to you because you can always stop playing Blizzard games but you can’t stop paying their taxes.
That’s a catch 22 bias people like to slam the accused with. If they responded with a bunch of bland, ultra safe statements, you’d be on here saying how guilty they looked because they didn’t deny it strong enough. Now that they’re strongly denying it you’re on here saying how guilty they are because they’re denying it too much.
We’ll see how this plays out. It could be true but it could also be grossly exaggerated by anti-business government employees who are out for blood.
Thought you said out for food, must be hungry
Never mess with a bureaucrat on lunch break haha
they could
Actually, I’m saying how guilty they are because I read the court filing and saw how much evidence that the state has after a two-year investigation, and the outpouring of stories happening on Twitter (many of which are being shared non-anonymously) corroborating the things in the lawsuit.
Nothing Blizzard could say at this point would make me go “wow those guys are all right it must all be a misunderstanding” at this point, that much is true, but that’s because they clearly did these things. Blizzard digging in and going “FAKE NEWS! BIAS!” in the face of all that is just about the most wrong approach that they could possibly take that I can think of, though, slightly narrowing out inviting the press down to HQ in Irvine to participate in a Cube Crawl.
Eh. The guy lives on the other side of the country, and California is pretty known for having silly laws that differ from the norm. It’s entirely possible Blizzard is mostly in the right in their statement. There’s a reason the poster prefaced their thoughts by saying they’re not from California.
There are aspects of the post that stand out even if they ARE right about the legal bits, but if those can be ignored, it’s not nearly as bad.
Note: Not trying to claim that Blizzard is or isn’t at fault. We’ll see what comes of this. Just talking about their response here and the quoted analysis of it. Nothing more.
2 year investigations don’t happen for no reason lol. this stuff would of been forgotten long ago i’m sure the state has everything they need and well prepared for any bs blizz throws there way. i used to think diferentlly until some guy i went to school with got nailed after a couple yr investigation and i went to court and watched then i understand why it went on for so long they had so much evidence no chance.
Again, I’ve seen how awful state bureaucrats can make something look when there’s a conclusion they want to reach.
If Blizzard follows through on their statement by actually going all the way to court we’ll see how it goes. If they back down with a whimper then you’d definitely be right.
I hope it goes to court and everything will come out. If Blizzard is as guilty as they say then the evidence will show that and they should suffer the deserved punishment.
This is no longer worth any time. Thank you to anyone who appreciated the personal breakdown of what I perceived, which was based solely on opinion and not formal advice. All former posts have been removed. I wish everyone the best on all aspects of this.
