as someone not inside blizzard’s internal corporate culture, i can still say they’ve been outwardly showing the same ideological behavioral shifting for much longer than 5 years and their corporate culture doesn’t show a significant behavioral change from between now and when the grotesque incident happened that they are implying. anti-harassment “training” does nothing if the management type people don’t comply with it.

Lol at thinking anti-harassment training stops the really scummy people. It doesn’t. It should still be done, but don’t prop it up as some silver bullet, just like how prison doesn’t really seem to reform all that many inmates.
How is FF 14/Square Enix stock doing?

If you’re HR in CA, you better understand that the state takes harrassment and worker rights very seriously. This is just rank incompetence and I wonder what they were even doing.

There are heads of HR who are women who are really evil. I read a time magazine article on this clothing company in Africa which is the clothing line of some celebrity, where the women are harassed and worse all the time and the head of HR is a woman who harasses them too, AND even harasses the men.
Oh it definitely happens.
