Blizzard Research Program

I am pretty sure there is no help for this but…

I got an email regarding this, however, when I started the survey the account data for another account that was logged in came up instead on the one with that email address. The survey told me to update the information and that I would be logged out of that page. Well I did and then when I went back to do the survey, it said survey interrupted and I can’t figure out how to get it back.

There doesn’t seem to be any contact information for this and although I actually was able to make a ticket I am doubtful they will be able to help either. Well the contact info they provide is to support but

Also, this sort of thing has happened before this cross posting of information from another account - why is your system set up to pick up information from the account currently logged into the game.

These surveys are sharing account data and I want to make sure the correct account data is used.

What kind of account info?
If it had anything to do with your login credentials, I’d change those ASAP.

This was already confirmed by a blue as being legit. And no it wasn’t log in information - blizzard actually has that already anyway…

It has nothing to do with log in info.

When you are going the through the set up, Blizzard pops up your battle.tag, name, and email so you can confirm it’s setting you up under the right account.

Plus, as Travia mentioned, it’s been confirmed by Blizzard already that these email invites for the research program are legitimate.

Travia, how long after you updated your info did you attempt to do the survey again? You could also trying clearing your cookies/cache and then try the email link again.

No it takes me to this section now and says no survey available. I don’t think it is just a matter of clearing cookies given this screen now.

I have had problems with surveys they send out before and you can’t get back once you go past a certain point.

p.s. no clearing cookies doesn’t help but I do see an email address in the Q and A under a different section. I think I will just wait and see if anything else pops up in the next few days.

This is a very legit Blizzard User Research program. Nothing nefarious. I am signed up for it too although I don’t have any surveys or anything yet.

Yes, I got the survey to do and completed it. You might want to try a different browser to attempt them.

I had a short survey once I was set up about what platforms I play on and what kinds of games. But nothing else so far.

That’s the same survey I had as well.

Ok that is probably what I never got and maybe should do since it sounds like part of the profile business.

I think it is too late for that. Most people wouldn’t have had a different account information coming up. I can try though.

Man has anyone actually GOTTEN a survey since joining? Dont need to say what it was (as thats against the things TOS)
But just saying if you got a survey or not is fine.

Cause legit i have checked my email, opened the thing every couple days, and not a single survey has popped up… since getting in back when it first came out.

Surveys are usually not sent to everyone. Just to a statistical sample group.

I know that but like… has anyone gotten one? like legit have not gotten a single one since signing up, kinda woulda assumed I would have gotten atleast one since then.

There legit we see players come here every few months or more asking.
