It’s wicked annoying to walk over to my PC, log in, remember that CoT, Blasted Lands, Shrine, and Kara portals are all gone, and then realize I have ZERO desire to play your little passive aggressive travel games, and then log off.

The CoT portal is coming back in 8.2. Shrine I agree would have been better than the Jade Forest, but it’s not too big of a difference.

I read that as they actually put the old portals back and you were angry about the change back.
It looks like they added some back when you have a legion class weapon quest that directs you to the old Dalran portals.
I think that they took to time to only do it for the quests makes your “passive aggressive travel game” characterization ring fairly true.
Especially with the children’s week quest that has you going to CoT. Spent a good 15 minutes enjoying the larger world for those.
Isn’t it enough that you can fly in Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor?

yes…harassing other players for a ride when they may just want to play THEIR game and be left alone is the perfect alternative to blizzard just putting the stinking portals back 
It took them 3 months to put back portal that they removed from the game?

I’m having no trouble Porting around. Even my low level Alts are happy.

It would help if there were -anything- of interest there for us to fly over… but the last update to those areas was pretty close to a decade ago.
Seriously, no. They don’t.
They only work as a ‘special case’ and then they never offer to teleport you again.
Next patch: No running! Due to all the running, we decided it was best to force all players to walk instead. To unlock running you must complete Runfinder part 1 and 2. Part 1 will be released in a month and part 2, 6 months after that. Also during this period, you will not be able to get on your mount.
It’s because they have to code it so that only the toons they deem worthy may use it. They did this on purpose and they suck for doing it.
They’re literally the worst.
