Wow, you got what you wanted and you’re still unhappy. Who ever saw that coming? Enjoy the new standard of quality for PuG groups, I guess. I’d like to tell you it gets better, but it really didn’t the first go around.
You no longer get to choose who is in your groups, you get what you get.
@OP - I’m sorry people did this… it’s a bummer but there’s always the next queue. Good luck out there.
These are all such wildly weak criticisms of a game that reinvents nearly every system each expansion, that I’m surprised that you’re able to use the keyboard.
All I meant was that Anti-RDFers would be likely responsible for this kind of behavior. It doesn’t mean that the OP’s adversarials were anti-RDFers. They could or could not have been.
Why you were incapable of understanding such a simple concept is what’s laughable.
But then again, I know you’re purposely neglecting your critical thinking in order to justify your narratives, as I shouldn’t have had to explain any of this to you.
Yep even retail side I have been more than fine with Mythic LFG only. classic mashed this all up. retail gave separation.
NOw…I would say given mythic 0 is not full blown mythic all know and love/hate (depends on the affix of the week lol) maybe that could get in the RDF. But I don’t rush to get petitions signed for it either.
as m20 people could not give a rat’s butt about m0 really.
With the caveat of dev based ilevel. I found for some of retails dungeons with ilevel locks to even LFD them…they were fair. and made sense.
Even the ilevel lock for the intro dungeon necrotic wake at then level 51…made sense. 2 bosses were burst heavy kills.
You needed the quest greens fully at 100+ (iirc) to drop stitchflesh and ice boy boss (forget real name lol).
the increases of bads are probably ‘tourist’ who think this is a speedrun like retail and hadnt shifted mindsets yet . they’ll either get with it or go and then we’ll have our normal bads again lol.
Nope, not surprised at all, we all knew the anti-RDF crowd would pull shinanigans… because they said they would and admit to doing it. 99% of the groups i have had have been positive and the 1 that was somewhat rough had people just not paying attention and were just in a rush. Most likely retail tourists and it was still a success without a single wipe.
And what is funny is I have had more sociable interactions with people in RDF than with looking for group this entire expansion.
Retail side I’ve had tanks say hold up in LFD, the little one is making some noise, let me check up on them.
they come back, yay still sleeping. and it turns into how old, I remember when mine were that little…fun decent conversations. Get enough rando’s who have been there…the parental nostalgia jsut flows really.
then its back to run dungeon you have run for over a year since it was in game lol.
No offense, but this is likely because you were biased towards it in an RDF setting. I played WotLK Phase 1 and part of 2. I had no shortage of social interactions in my dungeon groups. WoW grouping is always what you make of it and I tend to be chatty in dungeons.
Also please understand that while I think RDF is the wrong thing for the game, it’s there now, and I have zero interest in being spiteful about it. I made my arguments but Blizzard went another way, that’s the end of it. I would never willingly make someone else’s gameplay experience negative just to make a point. I suspect the same goes for almost every single person on these forums who posted in opposition of RDF.
Well, unless I’m healing and you’re a DPS chain pulling and making life super miserable for our tank. I’ve been known to stand aside and not heal a time or two.
Anyway, I’m glad you’re finding what you’re looking for!
(NOTE: My comments at that shaman are about all the spite I can muster, and there’s some history there.)
Personally I haven’t noticed any change, most people are just there to get the dungeon done, they know what to do and do it without needing to discuss it.
