I just tanked this dungeon where there was a 3 man premade of healer and 2 dps, one of the dps kept pulling extra packs, not moving out of frost patches… like he literally died every pull… at one point i said just run back we’re wasting our time, we can keep clearing 4 man and you’ll be able to catch up with us…
So i pull the next pack, their trio stands back and lets me and the other pug try to duo the trash… we almost did it funnily enough but when i saw they were just trolling i rocket booted/dashed away and he started trying to make a point… they just kicked me, thankfully i didnt get the leaver timer
A Troll is upset about trolling? The Irony… Jokes aside just remember when you have a premade group that you won’t have as much pull even as a tank… they know they can que to replace and that’s easier than before… They will always get front of the line once formed.
You guys are hilarious. These behaviors are not new, they’re not some conspiracy to make RDF look bad. Everyone who has done dungeons with RDF before could have seen this type of thing coming.
that works when the queue isnt broken… just got in a 5 man premade and queued, we got the “queue paused” thing… like we were in a queue to get into queue but we didnt even need to queue… ended up walking into vh as a group xD
It doesn’t really matter, it’s the new thing and some people are gonna troll it, it’ll get old quick. Nothing specific to RDF, although some of the anti RDF whiners likely are trolling it specifically.
I really don’t get this. Why does it have to always be ad-hominem attacks against people with different opinions.
I am not a proponent of Dungeon Finder, I think it’s the main differentiating feature of Retail, and Wrath has now crossed over into Retail, for me. However, I don’t harbor any hate or resentment towards people who like dungeon finder, nor am I out to troll anybody.
In the case of what the OP described, it may be that they were intentionally trolling, or it may be that they have a different way of playing and who knows? Maybe they saw the OP as trolling them.
Regardless, assuming someone’s preference for or against Dungeon Finder and lumping them into a box of what you call “bad” is pretty abhorrent behavior, imo.
Yes I lump people who troll dungeons into the group of bad regardless of motivation, and the people in the OP’s group most certainly were trolling.
And I was specifically saying that not everyone who trolls RDF is one of those anti RDF whiners, just that some of them are and some of them explicitly have stated they would.
It still remains an optional feature you can simply not use if you don’t like it. They didn’t even add the daily quests directly into it like it was originally in wrath. So if you don’t like RDF you now have no excuse to claim you are forced to use it.
