You are well aware that LFG has been used as a ‘global’ chat for like 8 years now. Why you chose to take the existing version of the ‘chat’ portion of it and decimate it is beyond me. Please revert or ADD a second ‘WORLD’ chat that is turned on by default and is not player moderated. Thank you.

I literally said in my post ‘Automatically join’ and ‘NOT player moderated’. Having to join a channel manually where whoever is owner can ban whoever they want isn’t what I’m talking about. Me knowing /join world exists is inferred by those two statements above for anyone who knows how to formulate English sentences.
B)
We are automatically IN the LookingForGroup channel at level 1, but you need to make a party to chat.
C)
If you bothered reading my post, you would also know that LookingForGroup has been the global chat channel for pretty much every server since dungeon finder existed.
D)
The entire reasoning for my post is to NOT have to do what you suggested, since LFG has always been the default (ON), automatically joined channel since dungeon finder existed and has sourced non LFG chat for the same time frame. Again, this part is not inferred, but stated by the two above statements in [A)].
And if nothing else, the removal of it’s prime function for over 12 years merits a replacement.

Agreed. There really should be a global chat to encourage people to actually talk to each other and get to know each other. Alliance Bene it’d be a train wreck, but Horde Bene we actually aren’t spammed with garbo 50x a second.

They should make /world a default channel and make a sticky post to show people how to opt out of it like a tutorial.
I honestly couldnt tell you how many times i had to tell new players to join lookingforgroup as it wasnt a default channel for a very long time.
World is a global channel existing in the game by default, it has existed since forever lol.

You have to queue yourself for something.
LFG is a channel for LookingforGroup.
If you are using it for other purposes, you’ll be reported and hopefully sanctioned for it.
I can’t help lazy people refusing to join an existing global channel. Sorry not sorry, if you haven’t noticed LFG was used for boosting ads and gdkp carries, Blizzards response, sign up to LFG via LFG tool to talk in LFG, it kills spam bots while forcing players to use the new tool (fun fact an LFG tool existed in tbc and it was meant to help with group formation, of course ignored because people be big dumbs)

Hey look someone else who can’t read. LFG was not used for group making since group finder was added a decade ago. Also same difference, I need to LIST MYSELF rather than just use the channel.
Tell me, if you already list your group in the literal group finder, why you would need to look for the same group you listed yourself for in the chat channel?
The reason they did it is so that everyone is forced to use it, thus they can claim it as a success.

The existing channel you speak of is not an existing channel, by the way. /World does not exist until someone types /join world. Once again the dimwit is unable to comprehend what has been stated. It’s a player moderated channel, meaning the owner switches randomly every time an ‘owner’ logs out, and gives full authority to thousands of players per day to ban, mute, etc, other players.
Go sell your gdkp and boosting services on an RMT site, you’ll make more money that way.

LFG and a global “talk” channel should be seperate
