Blizzard please, hear the community - Evokers want a glyph to perma be human. Add it in 10.1 plz

They would arguably just make combat toggle visage, I would think.

Unlike Worgen though, combat doesn’t activate your dracthyr form, you can spam cast living flame and stay in visage form, it’s abilities like empowered spells, disintegrate, deep breath, etc. that take you out of visage form, so when/if dracthyr become other classes, you’ll never come out of visage form, ever.

I kinda want to visage to a Tauren or NE personally

They do care.
Stop being weird.

rather we time travel to the past, and visage was never a concept.

I don’t get people that are against an optional customization

“But I don’t want to see XYZ because it breaks my immersion”

Well I hope that your immersion isn’t broken when players like us, that want the customizations, use transformation toys and consumables 24/7. Because apparently flying skeletons that hover awkwardly are more immersive for all of you.

Also, at this point we have classes that can harness and channel the power of the moon, elements, the void, the light, etc

I’m sure the aspects could grant us (other classes) the ability to channel draconic abilities or w/e. Make it a long quest chain that culminates in some sort of ceremony, easy

Some of us play evoker because of the class. It’s a shame that they had to lock it to a race that lacks customization for the most part. Feels like those asian MMOs were classes were locked to gender.

Specially now. Locking the only support spec in the game to lizards. Want to play support? Sorry, you can only play as a lizard

Speak for yourself. I absolute despise the entire concept of a Visage form, and would rather just be a Dracthyr forever. Visage forms were a complete waste of resources and development time that could have gone to giving Dracthyr even more appearance and armor options.

Not really, it’s actually very low effort when compared to the work of adapting the shape of each and every piece of mail armor to the unique body of the Dracthyr.

Visage are just reskins, and the easiest and fastest way to give transmog given the massiveness of the other task and the scarcity of time to launch, and at the same time is lore friendly considering what dragons can do.

I’m being hyperbolic, but non-human/elf options would be appreciated. But when I want to play as a dragon, I want to play as a dragon. Being forced into my Visage form to remind myself it exists every time I queue into arena just annoys me. And then you get special cases where you can’t use the Niffen Diggin’ Mitts, because I guess they couldn’t be bothered to make it work.

But this is what I’m advocating. To have the option (Glyph?)

So that you never have to be in Visage form
And I never have to be in Lizard form

I live with the change to automatic visage always active, I didn’t know that not having that on still puts you in visage from time to time XD

But I can imagine the frustration, like when I use hover to move and then it doesn’t return me to visage even when I’m not in combat :stuck_out_tongue:

Would the game be improved if for some reason people hated how vulpera looked and rather be an orc or something? so now Vulpera can shapeshift into orcs?

Or cause gnomes and dwarves are the same anyway, so now they can shift into each other? or cause human is the most popular race, every race needs to be able to be human?

If lore doesn’t exist, just make it up so that it works.

It’s stupid.

I’m bumping this thread because i’ve noticed something since the patch came out. Visage now has some (not all) of the animations for hover and deep breath.

You can see it for a fraction of a second when you press hover or deep breath. And i looked over towards the wowhead dressing room tool to confirm that there are indeed new animations that weren’t there before.

Now i could chalk it up to blizzard wanting to clean up some of the animations by adding transitional animations to the visage, but it’s almost imperceptible when it happens in-game. So maybe they have something more in store for the future.

In either case, if they’re doing stuff like this, they should give us a readycast animation in visage like every other caster has. Instead of just having me put my dukes up.

The problem right now is that Dracthyr mogging isn’t finished and it’s unknown whether or not it will be finished at the end or at the start of the next expansion because Blizzard likes their radio silence.

If this Glyph ends up getting pushed out first instead of having proper mogging options on Dracthyr form then it’s going to be an ever growing pain because god knows at this point if they have ANY intention on finishing this uncompleted mess.

At least Worgen were able to experience full mogging to a degree on their release.

I understand people want it but … I mean in the very least they’d still need to transform for abilities like breathing fire … etc.

It would look so silly having a little petite blood elf / human looking woman breathing fire …

I completely agree, I would rather just be in human form at all times and I too use the recalibrator constantly. Even if we just transform for a moment to do dragon specific attacks like the breaths and tail swipe etc, and we immediately go back to human form I would love that

As opposed to the class you literally posted on doing it?

Nobody would mind transforming for the abilities that require draconic form. (Though I’m not sure why Azure Strike requires draconic form, but that’s a whole other thing.) Just having the option to auto-shift back when done casting those would be nice. Certain abilities wouldn’t be hard to reuse other spellcasting animations for, such as Azure Strike (literally almost every other caster has an instant one-handed “shred” animation) and Disintegrate (Spiritbloom animation but with the beam instead of the blossom), etc.

True. But it’s not dragon breath …

Permanent humanoid form sounds terrible, but if people want to do that, OK by me.
