In order of my preference
Full transmog unlock for dracthyr.
Class sets unlock more barbershop armour options for dracthyr.
Shoulder/chest/legs/belt Tmog for dracthyr.
Glyph of Endless Visage.
Untie visage/dracthyr tmogs so they can be done separately.

They did mention it in an interview, but that it wouldn’t be during Dragonflight’s expansion.
Adding different races to visage doesn’t really change anything at all, when it comes to the transmog problems of the dracthyr.
If they added all races to visage tomorrow, my list would still stay exactly the same.
They already lied about Overwatch 2’s PvE.
Also Evoker in general was created around the idea of Dracthyr since none of the other classes encompassed what ‘Dracthyr’ were in the design.

Sure, but that won’t happen until at least the next expansion, the requested option is somewhat faster to perform and will satisfy a portion of the community while the others wait for the full transmog, in the end it doesn’t cause any damage.

After some thought and review of this thread, I could get behind something like this for dracthyr. However, I don’t agree it should be a glyph. If Blizz does have intentions of spreading the dracthyr to other classes (as was mentioned in an interview), I think it should be available to all dracthyr. Since glyphs are foundationally built to be class specific and not race specific, perhaps it could be better incorporated via an NPC that could be spoken to, perhaps a dragon that knows some new secrets about visage forms? Perhaps this dragon could also unlock some new racial appearances for dracthyr visage forms via quest, to appease the other main concern with visage forms: a lack of variation in choice visage races.
The glyph idea would be a solution that would allow evokers to stay a dracthyr thing (since its tied to their biology/anatomy) and they wouldn’t need to find an excuse to enable it to other races, since evoker would be able to turn into them all trough visage.
Dractyr’s that want to play other classes, just like worgens likely chose the race because they want to play that race/appearence, so it would not be fair to just allow them to be any class and any race at the same time imo.
I mean, I don’t think it would be fair for evokers but not all dracthyr in that your argument can be applied to evokers as well. Players who chose evoker currently knew they’d be a dragon, but they decided to play that over another class for a reason they deemed more important than their dislike of the dracthyr body.
I think if one type of dracthyr gets to use their visage permanently, all should.
Kinda disagre because it wouldn’t be the same, since visage is an aspect of draconic magic (which the only class that has access currently is evoker), just like worgens are a product of druidic magic , but not all worgens are druids (like a worgen warrior cant shapeshift into a bear even if his worgen form is the result of a druid form), so it wouldn’t make sense to an evoker that doesn’t dabble into that magic to be able to use it as freely.
But in the end im down for the solution that enables more customizations, so if that is the solution they go for, so be it.
I would prefer instead of permanent visage form is full transmog for dragon form.
I’d dig ANY glyphs for Evoker, would just be cool to have a few.
No I do not I want to be able to pick the race of my Visage to be Vulpera as a Human in Horde cities is extremely immersion breaking especially on an RP server like Wyrmrest Accord which I’ll be transferring Lyraxia over to shortly.

If they ever gave drakthyr full transmog options, i think they’d need to do this just so the drakthyr that like running around nekkid could still be clothed when in visage.
It’s such a bummer that Dracthyr is technically two new races in one, but we can’t ever choose which form to stay in. Transmog is also one of the reasons why a player would want to stay in visage for example. The dragon form kind of reminds me of druid forms since they also can’t display gear, and it’s kind of silly if for example a guardian druid was locked into bear form even on the character selection screen.
Why the hell would you play a Dracthyr Evoker and not want to be Dracthyr? The entire point of the race/class is to be Dracthyr.
I understand your point 100% and you are correct if you boil it all down. I just am hoping for them to improve on the experience of playing a Dracthyr/Evoker.
We can both agree that the dragon form and visage form needs separate mogs yes? Also if soar could have a “static flight” toggle so we could fly like older mounts as a dragon.
There’s so many things that this race/class combo has the potential to expand upon that would make playing much more immersive, and to me and a few others having a permanent visage toggle would be one of those things.
I’m all for visage options, and it will make Blizz money for race changes so I’d be shocked if this isn’t implemented at some point.
Anyone talking about lore and trying to explain why all dracthyr combat abilities can be used while in visage form immediately loses credibility to their argument, lol. We don’t see dragons/the aspects doing any real combat in their visages, because they are limited in what they can do physically. I don’t even get into RP or lore but deep breath and rescue etc in visage would look so dumb.
If you rolled an evoker thinking they were going to do this, you have no one to blame for your disappointment but yourself.
