No loot that’s a really bad idea. but totally down for a practice mode with AI.
MMO doesn’t me you have to play with others 24/7
Don’t tell them that all they do is plug their ears and go la la la la many including me agree with you and have been trying to tell them but it is like talking to a brick wall.
The are stuck in their ways and rather the game burns and dies before admitting WOW is not only a group game but also a solo game even said so on the box.
The problem is, the first raid no one cares to do. They are but using it because it is required for story progression and by that point they just rush it because 9/10 times it can be mowed down with many people not knowing what’s going on.
And like any other MMO, being out in the world, not many people chat. The chatting primarily comes in dungeons and it isn’t like ‘omg conversation for hours’ but people are willing and welcoming towards newbies/leafs.
WoW has the opposite problem of belittling and hating new players, not wanting to devote any second to helping them out and just parroting for them to quit the game and Go watch YouTube videos for hours until they know everything and never have to ask someone another question.
And WoW has had that problem well since Burning Crusade – just a general dislike for welcoming new players to the game or helping one another out even if it means taking a few minutes to do so. Most of the problem comes from those players treating wow as a job or they are so AH focused because of gold = $$$ that a few minutes not working towards their goals may as well be a whole day.
How about a simpler solution. If the wait is more than 5-10 minutes, any missing slots are filled with AI and the group is formed.
