Blizzard, please end mage dungeon boosting in TBC Classic WoW

I agree the WoW community ruined classic. They will literally meta and optimize the fun out of any content. Though playing that way is fun to them and that’s fine but if you don’t play there way then your a scrub noob and not permitted to run content with them.

I agree, mage boosting needs to be nerf.

nah.
a. youre already at least lvl 58 and have access to 90% or more of your class toolkit. nothing is more boring than being a warrior for the first 36 levels auto attacking everything down.

b. outlands does a much better job at leading you to quest hubs. none of this “Okay, time to go quest in winterspring. let me go start the quest chain in ungoro crater”

Yeah TBC did a far better job at breadcrumb quests and consolidating quest hubs and overall routing. None of this, “Ok, I am out of quests here, I have no idea where to go next?” stuff. In TBC questing was clear and breadcrumbs helped guide you to the next hub. You knew where to go and flight paths were more direct. No circle the entire map to land in a place one zone away. Yes, we all have taken one of those flights where you could have walked there faster.

Overall TBC was a far more enjoyable leveling experience with nice funny quests to break up the monotony.

We all remember out first poo quest fondly.

Didn’t tbc fixed a lot of that in Azeroth?

Some but not all. But I was comparing Vanilla experience to TBC.

The big overhaul in Azeroth quests didn’t happen until Cata

the flight path from ratchet to orgrimmar flies you from ratchet, to crossroads, back to ratchet, then to orgrimmar.

u think u do but u dont :)))

But that would be against #nochanges.
Lots of hypocrites in this thread

Yep, did that one many times. That is one example of the differences.

And we remember the, go to this zone, get a quest that leads to another zone to do a few quests, then you have go back to another zone get do a few quest which then makes you go all the back to the original zone you started in to turn in some quests.

Classic had us running around from zone to zone so much you spent a good portion of your time just walking or flying around.

TBC does none of that. You seamlessly move in a steady logic progression from one zone to another. Most quests start and end in the same zone. And breadcrumbs were not sending you clear a cross the map but instead just one zone or quest hub away.

I’m talking how they added flight paths increased quest exp decreased exp needed per lvl. Also made the quest hubs better… your talking about how they remade Azeroth via death wing throwing a temper tamptrum

Funny how it went from… you think you do but you don’t… to… ok you do, but how can we make some extra cash hahaha

And to add to that, itemization.

You can go several levels in classic without seeing a single upgrade from a quest, especially as a caster. Spellpower? what’s that?

TBC they knew what people wanted on items, and you had a steady progression of gearing the entire time. End of chains and elite quests rewarded kickass blues that made the whole chain worth it. Dungeon quests too.

They made your class feel stronger and better to play. You wanted to quest because there was some good stuff there.

Yep. Remove boosting in all forms.

The leveling process in classic was part of its challenge. If they dont like it they shouldn’t play it, its that simple.

So they shouldn’t play it because YOU believe, that the leveling experience is important in old non-progression content. I’m not knocking levelers, if you like it, do it… why do YOU want to force people to have the same experience as you. I leveled back in the day, why if able to should I be forced to suffer through Vanilla content when i’m here for TBC content.

If someone cant stand the content of leveling what honestly makes you think they are going to stick around for attunements, for the challenges of raiding, or arenas? I leveled back in the day to its not hard or annoying classic is not about some bum rush to the end game. if you want that just go play retail.

Again, not everyone wants to relive vanilla… but wants to relive TBC. Why is that a difficult thing for you to grasp? I will boost and I will also be drinking the tears of all the crybaby purists as I do so. I will enjoy TBC for as long as I see fit. I have fond memories of it.

You gotta remember, this isn’t new content to progress through, it’s been done probably a million times at least.

Then ya know man your just part of the problem. People like you are what lead us to how retail is now. Its just sad…
