So there was no RMT trading in vanilla? yeah, there was, and in TBC, and Wrath and etc etc
Literally this whole post is the OP picking fights without bringing up a single point. Why is this thread not flagged to oblivion yet? Itās not hard.
I also donāt think boosting is automatically good for the game just because people who played it a ton experienced burnout.
Taking a break at that point probably shouldnāt be a sign something is wrong with the game as much as it would just be the natural order of things.
Iād probably want a break if I was trying to raid gear 6 characters one after the other too. That doesnāt mean they should let me skip raiding and just get the gear.
All games are going to limit what you can and canāt do.
the game meaning blizzard tells us. i dont need other players telling me or others that their way of playing is somehow more valid .
and people are posting to try to get blizzard to change their mind about the meaning of the game.
Most people arenāt saying ādonāt do mage boostingā. Theyāre saying āBlizzard please nerf mage boostingā.
Was that not the whole point of classic yāall really donāt know what you want do u
I think you mistake classic for vanillaā¦ Iām not in this for classic vanilla, Iām in it for classic TBC. I know exactly what I wantā¦ no leveling was not the point of classic.
So basically retail?
You have a very valid point and there is nothing wrong with wanting the type of game you desire. The thing is that it already exists in retail. The whole point of the revamps was for people who preferred the old way. Their points and desires are just as valid as yours are.
What is so wrong with wanting both groups to have their game? The Classic revamps for the people you describe as āpuristsā and retail for those that prefer more convenience. You are wanting both games to cater to you and neither to cater to the other group.
I always find it funny when itās someone arguing for changes that says this.
They clearly donāt like how classic is being played, and argue for it to be changed, but itās the people who want it to remain the same that should quit.
Ok bud.
Got any proof for this claim?
The entire point of classic is to give us people with time to level a game we enjoy. You people with no time to play already have your facebook retail game you can log into for 5 minutes a day to pick up your unfulfilling rewards. Stop trying to turn the game we had to fight for into what you already have.
Actually, there should be an AoE cap. Mage farming also lends to the gold farming problems.
Vanilla classic is over.
iād give it 6/10.
The Buff meta, Engineering, and bracket boosting for pvp killed it for me.
The modern gaming community is crap.
Yes i am a boomer now, im 37 and played Vanilla when i was 20/21/22.
Yup. This is completely on Blizzard. They need to be much more proactive in stopping RMT in the form of botters, gold sellers, and gold buyers. If they did this, boosting wouldnāt be nearly as prevalent.
People would have less botted cash to pay mages, so mages would be less willing to boost for the lesser amount of gold.
Iām actually curious about why heās not playing retail. Seems like that has what heās looking for.
This is the type of game integrity the people in this thread are trying to defend.
A community that historically cries for balance, yet defends a class having this much power.
Genius.
Yes I know you want to reply and say this video was done without AOE cap, but Flamestrike will fill in the blanks and it will be doable. Same with 500 enemy pull in Mara. The only people arguing against this are the ones making money from boosting with their mage. Thatās evidence enough that it needs to be reigned in.
understood. weāll fix it by adding wow token to the game
You are in luck. The age of the mage boost is over! Let the age of the paladin boost begin!
Iām confusedā¦ lvling in outlands is 95% the same as azerothā¦ gather 10 of this kill 10 of thatā¦ so ergo if Azeroth questing/ leveling is bad then wouldnāt outlands questing and leveling be bad??
