Blizzard, PLEASE do not add a mount store to Classic

oh gawd if you think the “forums” are in an uproar about a boost i can only imagine how the same 20 people spamming on alts would react if THAT happened.

Tbh I think achievement system is the only way to satisfy both sides, since technically you would have to earn this mount through hard work.

achievement unlocked “level 10” reward “new low rez tbc mount”

i’d lolololol

Technically we are gonna play on a client version that is between TBC and WOTLK so achievements sound extremely possible.

It’s a symptom of the same disease. Ally pallies didn’t get their seal of blood variant until Wrath, but they’ll have it in TBC Classic. So I’m simply saying your justification for doubting this is a TBC mount is absurd.

my guess is it’s a reward for using the boost.

but the mount being available in classic or retail is a different question.

That change was made for class/faction balance purposes, a new mount model has nothing to do with the game system. It’s cosmetic with little to no impact to gameplay.

Unless it acts as both a land mount and a flying mount. I’m not sure if flying mounts were even usable at all in non-flying zones, as in you couldn’t even just run around on the ground with them. You still had to ride around on your ground mount in battlegrounds or Azeroth.

I might just be mis-remembering, my favorite mounts were the Hippogryph and I know they couldn’t even walk on the ground until late WotLK.

A store mount does majorly impact classic though. Saving up for ones epic mount in classic is a significant hurdle in classic allowing someone just to buy a mount for cash is basically giving them hundreds of gold.

It hasn’t been a reasonably difficult hurdle since P1.

If it becomes a store mount, sure. We don’t know how it is being implemented or if it’s even attainable. They just found it in the files.

I’m not going into doom and gloom mode until they also data mine a cash shop interface.

How about this.

Blizzard put all retails mounts in TBC , 10.000 per as a cosmetic gold sink. What so you think

This is unbelievable but also believable at the same time this is a disgusting business move.

Damn it’s almost like I said this would happen, and it’s almost like history is repeating itself. Only if people would wake up.

Isn’t it a modified Legion client, or are they changing the client for TBC Classic?

i feel like blizzard didnt go far enough. i want my ashes of alar, gladiator mount and title, warglaives, and thoridal purchasable in the cash shop in phase 1!

/actiblizz drones in full damage control on forums.

the fact that its a slippery slope for changes. And before you know it you have 3 systems on top of each other and you are actually playing BFA in a TBC server.

you do realize how trash the legendary bow is right? no hunter is gonna us it over the ammo you can buy + the epic bow that drops in sunwell. the only way ANYONE would pay real money for it would be in retail, not tbc. as it would be somewhat useful as a mog vs completely useless as a weapon.

“Slippery slope” fallacy is a fallacy.

I stopped reading here.

Do tell, what’s the business move? We have no idea when, where, or how this mount will be available. Don’t yell at Blizz about disgusting business moves when you can’t even describe what the move is yet.
