I go to Quote somebody, say my response, and the Quote will disappear upon submission, sometimes. Even when I don’t use Smilies.

Agreed, I was actioned for mentioning remote desktop in a post, even though a search of the forum produces hundreds of results on it and full guides to set it up =P

Could you link where I said I was reporting someone because they disagreed? Why do you keep reverting back to that argument? I want more reports to report the spammed portion that has no content that neither agrees or disagrees with my post.

Because it is not up to you to be the arbiter of what belongs in threads you create. It is not up to you to be a curator. The reports are for reporting flagrant breaking of the rules.

I’m not, but I can report someone for obvious trolling. They’re not bringing anything worthwhile to the table other then comments to derail a thread.

If they said “Your post is dumb and I don’t agree!” Thats fine.

If they say “pooooopeeeepoooopppeeeeee” that qualifies as spam to me. Does it not to you?

What if they say that another 40x times? Do you understand what I’m talking about now?

I would have to see it in context, but if enough people agree with you…they will use their flags too and the problem will solve itself. Not everyone is using their flags so liberally.

You’re not the final arbiter of what is trolling or not though, you need a group of people to agree with you.

The thing is, when I inquired if it’s within ToS, Blizzard said they don’t tell you what is and isn’t.

The prevailing opinion I’ve seen in thread and thread is that it is within ToS, and I’ve seen large viewership streamers, such as Bellulargaming, recommending it.

While my server has no queue and it’s never been necessary for me, it is confusing if it is acceptable or not.

Blizzard’s response was literally, we won’t specify if it is against ToS, but make sure to report people talking about this workaround. The verbiage makes the answer obvious, but the lack of clarity on their ToS is quite obnoxious.
