I agree with op.
The classic gd forums are filled with trolls who are running amuck since there are so few flags. I’ve found I have to be judicious for the most flagrant offenders and let others that should be punished escape.

I’ve found the “No-Changers” to be the minority in-game. I see “No-Changes” being mocked sarcastically all the time.
The flagging system is not meant to be used for people you disagree with, but for posts that break the rules. If you’re running out of them, then you’re using them wrong.
As for the example you posted with the word you don’t like…the existence of a word you dislike probably isn’t worthy of a flag in-and-of itself, but how that word is being used. In the context Glinda was using it, it might be blunt…but he/she/it isn’t insulting anyone or using that word to target anyone.

Its acceptable to say you disagree. It shouldn’t be acceptable to spam a thread with nothing pertaining to the topic. Dominating it in this case.
If enough people agree with you, they will also flag those posts and things will get sorted out.
Asking for more flags so you can go on a crusade against people posting things in a your thread isn’t going to turn out well for you though.
Glinda is a national treasure, you leave them alone.

Are they? I don’t really say “#nochanges”. I just politely say “no, thank you”. Along with a brief reason. Still, the statement “you think you did but didn’t” holds a ring of truth to it. Even if “#nochanges” are the minority. That just means the “majority” thought they did but didn’t.
Everybody gets sarcastically mocked around here. Doesn’t matter what side you’re on. Even Retailers eat each other.
It would be nice to just get trolls out of threads before they are completely derailed. And guess who was one of the first comments on my last thread… Doesn’t stand a very good chance after that.
It is incredibly easy to break the forum rules. Some of the things I’ve had vacations for are really bizarre. Simply arguing with someone could land you a suspension even if it was a somewhat civil argument.

0 insults, 0 profanity, vacation obtained. Now I’ve had ones I definitely deserve but I’ve been trying to be extremely careful in dealing with people that are obviously out to get me suspended. I simply report and move on most of the time now and I’m constantly out of reports.

Not in that example, no. In others, they definitely do pry at other Posters.
Actual trolling gets reported and dealt with pretty quickly. It just requires a consensus of people agreeing something is actually trolling.
But just because you disagree with something does not automatically make it trolling. Asserting that they are over and over doesn’t make it true either.

Agreed. I do understand your point about the Report scenario. Curious about why there’s a Hearting limit…
I don’t know if there is any reward tied to your fake internet hearts, but I assume as soon as there is any intensive to having internet hearts…someone is going to find a way to break it. Off the top of my head i can think of buying another account just to give every post in your history a heart.
Its sad that we live in a world where I can imagine someone paying real money to give themselves hearts, but i truly can.

That does explain it. I think IK what that reward is, and it’s not really a “reward”. There’s a “Trust Level”, towards either Accounts and/or Avatars, that allows you to post outside Links aside from Blizz Forums. Which is obfuscated by simply posting all of your URLs between the ` symbol.
Also, you can Heart your own Posts, with your other Avatars…
