Looks like the trolls found de way to your new thread.
They are. I find some Threads/Comments/Replies flagged for “Trolling” not agreeing with it but others did. That’s why you can appeal them.
It’s 2020 and people are still sensitive on the internet? OP, just ignore some posts and continue your discussion. You’ll generally find more trolling comments in bad threads, so the better your topic the less likely people will not follow along.

I think you miss the point of the thread. My last thread has one person who has 40% of the post with nothing relevant to the topic. Its hard to ignore people when they dominate a thread with trash.

No, I totally understand the point of your thread. I don’t know if you understand how the reporting works though. Multiple people have to report a comment for it to be hidden and for a suspension the person has to do something Blizzard considers against their code of conduct.
It’s very easy to ignore people’s comments, especially if you have a mousewheel.

I responded once to the Troll asking them to stop. That’s it. Others though didn’t give them the same grace.
After the thread was gone it didn’t matter anymore.
That’s the worst thing you can do to a real troll. That’s like swimming with a shark nearby and saying “hmm maybe if I cut myself and bleed a little he’ll go away”.

People speaking their minds aren’t necessarily trolling. It’s important to be able to have civil discourse, even when you strongly disagree with someone.

It’s difficult to do so online, especially on gaming forums. Forget about it entirely on any news website comment section. Even specialized groups like some of the ones I’m in on Facebook have morons that I have to block.
Agreed. It’s trolling when someone spams a thread with irrelevant discussions. Or dominates the thread in this case.
100%. I just try to atleast give one response to show common courtesy. Then they proceed to reply another 40+ times with garbage…
