Agreed… but I do have to admit I did see this coming.

It’s the worgens I’m worried about being completely shafted currently :confused:

I wish blizzard would say something directly about the worgen mount.

I think it makes sense that druid travel forms aren’t mounts, as they are unique in being instant cast.

Really hope they revisit running wild though, as it functions exactly like a mount. Especially with new worgen models on the near horizon, kneecapping their racial ‘mount’ would be really, really lame.

Racial or class travel abilities don’t require the use of a mount, so you’re not actually mounting up. And if you’re not mounting up, then there’s no equipment, thus you either choose a proper mount and gain access to said equipment or keep crying waaaaaaah!

Blizzard treats them like mounts, and everything that effects mounts effects them? So why not let it benefit?

blizzard isn’t taking away your speed boost because mount equipment is being added, so you are getting one for FREE for playing a paladin. I think you should keep it, because in the long run it doesn’t effect me in the least.

As for the worgen… the racial MOUNT was announced to be running wild, and for a long time was the only racial mount. They only added the two horses to make it even with the goblins since they got credit toward the mount achievements and worgens didn’t.

Well then you should petition Blizzard to transfer all of the racial mount abilities to the mount list page where the equipment will be slotted instead of having those racials work as spells.

I believe the racial mount “running wild” benefits from mount equipment now.

So no need anymore :smirk:
