Blizzard on mount equipment: *Running wild, Druid Travel Forms will not benefit*

I feel that every mount, no matter what, should receive the benefits of the mount equipment system. Go all the way, yknow?

It wasn’t originally 3, it was divided up into 4 to give a full fledged tanking option in bear.

You act as if druids can tank, heal, and dps all at the same time in 1 spec, which is not true.

If it is, then you can do that as well.

You can do just as much as I can as a paladin.

Water striders that dont stride water anymore…Boats that dont float…yaks that’ll walk on water now.
This game makes my brain hurt.

None of it makes sense - that’s why Blizzard’s going for it lol :cow:

heh…yeah…lets not forget that. Because at least two of those specs are nigh on useless compared to other classes.

They have yet to explain why, so they never disagreed with us saying it’s unfair. All that was said is shapeshifting, and things like it (Running wild LUL, please try and argue and tell me how that’s OP)

For all we know, it’s just a technical issue, in which case, it is something that can be worked on for the future.

Never once did Blizzard Entertainment ever said druids shapeshifting is Overpowered in ANY way there…

So no, blizzard didn’t agree or disagree with anyone, all they did was state their plans.

The whole mount equipment system seems lackluster in general. It seems like it was made primarily to fix the waterstrider “issue” and everything else is an after thought. They need to add more exciting equipment and flesh it out.

And yes, no one should be left out of the fun either. Let druids and worgen benefit from it as well.

I’m with Mortis on this. Travel form already has plenty of benefits.

Running Wild definitely should benefit from mount equipment though. It’s the worgen’s racial mount. Absolutely should benefit from them.

dont see why its a big deal not to allow it.
If theyre going to treat the worgen ability like a mount with the mounting time, then they should allow it. Otherwise Running Wild is pointless and isnt going to be used at all.
But…this is par for the course for Ion and company.

The only benefit to Running Wild is the mount speed, right?

I believe so.

Whoop-de-doo. It takes maybe 1 second to shift. Anyone in PVP against a rogue is screwed. Face it.

Again whoop-de-doo. Shifts back and forth as to the depth of the water. At least the swim speed is faster than not mounted or being on a mount without water walking. I can swim away from anything shifted.

Mine doesn’t fail. Sorry yours does. If it sends you back to a tauren, just shift back. Takes a click of the keys or mouse.

Well, look at it like this. Anyone else has to wait until they are out of combat before they can mount for any speed boost. Druids have an instant getaway which is still much faster than the mobs can run.

Definite advantages. I love my druid just for the travel advantages. Blizzard isn’t going to change this. It seems that less than a handful of people on the forums agree with you, so it’s nowhere near the 4K posts of hundreds of people wanting the strider to keep his waterwalking. You made your point. Let them decide, but just know that they already have decided.

GCD as in takes about 1 second to recast it? That’s not a GCD, that’s just to keep you from looking spastic if you just wanted to shift ever 1/10 second to look cool.

These are not advantages lol.

There is a TON of things that move faster than the 40% movement speed (cat form movement speed) travel form.

It takes more than a second to shift in and out as well, try timing it  doing so multiple times is actually the reason for people catching up so easy in wpvp.

In fact, anything that slows constantly will make travel form void.

So again, define “advantages” in your words then, because I have yet to see any to not having travel form.

I don’t think Running Wild should be able to use mount equipment. Even though Worgen have a travel form they are not mountable so I don’t think they should benefit. And even though I love Druids and their travel forms I don’t think they should benefit either even though some forms can be mounted.

I think mount equipment should only be for those mounts you can see and use in your mount collection. Now if Blizz wants to add some glyph or something to work kind of like mount equipment but for travel forms then I would be all for that because glyphs need a serious update and much love. But as far as making travel forms equal to mounts I am against that. And if you give it to druids and Worgens then what about Shaman wolf form? It will just be a bunch of people wanting all things equal and it’s mounts > travel forms or animal forms the way it should be.

Use the fishing raft in travel form. It’s great.

Thank God Blizzard is not touching travel form. It’s fine the way it is. Druids can still use mount equipment on other mounts.

Small note about Paladin/DK mount speed… it also DOES NOT STACK with any other mount speed increase. So if you have BfA Pathfinder part 1 you have the same speed in Zandalar/Kul Tiras that they do as it is also a 20% increase.

Shaman wolf form doesn’t go mount speed. The Worgen Running Wild is mount speed and has a cast timer… it’s just a mount and has no other advantages.
