Blizzard not checking ban appeal tickets?

“What compromisers do NOT do is something that enhances or is beneficial to the account.”

This is an implication that someone benefitted my account while playing on it. I am asking what that benefit was since I was unable to recognize it. If they have the record that someone else logged into my account, someone else obviously logged into my account.

No red flags visible, because i have discord messages, and the entire tournament was streamed.

Thank you, I will continue to pursue it.

The only way to pursue it is to appeal which you have already done, at this point you simply need to wait. The appeal process is not one where you get to put up a defense, instead a different member of the hacks team will go over the logs they have again, and likely look at them a lot more closely. If the penalty is removed or reduced it will be only based on data they have, nothing you say, or provide will be used.

Yes, I answered that part. And no, Blizzard isn’t going to get into a debate with you about it.

All you’re going to be able to do is appeal (which is via the ticket process you’ve initiated) and that’s it.

If you’re asking them for any details, they’ll ignore that part and either uphold or overturn the account action.

In this case, it sounds like they’ll uphold it.

The obvious implication is piloting, where you pay an RMT booster to log into your account and do something in-game for you (IE: clear a raid for mount, queue PvP for higher rating, etc.).

Doing so presents 2 valid reasons for you to eat a 6 month suspension.

This was not an answer to the question. You didnt state what this “other person” did to benefit my account.

This isn’t a debate. The GM has seemed quite receptive and forthcoming so far, even without prompting, so asking for further information is not unrealistic.

They played while you were not playing. THAT is the benefit. They did not hack/steal/sell/wipe everything for gold…so you were not hacked, you allowed someone else to access the account.

Orlyia is a Support Forum Agent. GMs are only available via the ticket process.

There are no gms here orlyia wont delve too much onto this.

There is really nothing else I can tell you, Freekyy, and a GM isn’t going to tell you as much as I have.

That would absolutely be a valid reason. If it were true. Glad we can agree.

Whether or not it’s true in reality, I fully expect you to continue to push a narrative that it isn’t.

Simply being logged in isn’t a benefit to my account. Leveling my characters, farming gold, farming pvp rating, etc. are all BENEFITS to my account.

Well, they’re not going to tell you how it was detected, since doing so would make it easier for the RMT piloters (who you agree need to be banned), to avoid said detection.

I didn’t say that they had simply logged in. Interesting that you think that’s all they did…just accessing your account is indeed a violation.

At the end of the day, you were lucky to get so much detail!

Secure your account. Stop letting anyone else access it. Make sure it’s secure with an authenticator.

Please understand that Blizzard will only use their OWN logs. They do not accept any “evidence” from players because sadly that can be falsified or edited.

My guy, this is a response to you stating “They played while you were not playing. THAT is the benefit.” LOL. Interesting you cant remember your own posts.

And then you replied saying they simply accessed your account. It wasn’t just that. They played…they didn’t just log into the character selection screen.

I think I’m done here though. You seem to actually have an idea of what happened and are tip-toeing around it.

Best of luck again.

I don’t actually know either way, just that it’s what was being implied by Orlya, who is a more reliable source than the target of any account action as to what happened.

since this brings up my other point: They know that guilty players who have been suspended have a motivation to lie and submit false evidence in these cases. Therefore, everyone in that situation is assumed to be untrustworthy, and nothing they say will be believed unless it can be verified by their internal logs.

Only Blizzard Blues can see anything about your account. MVPs are other players. We are not allowed to account share, period. Does not matter why, or how, it can get an account closed.

The exception is an account in the name of a parent for one minor child. That is not the case here though from the sound of it.

Nobody is going to go into details about exactly how you were caught. That is information that the anti-cheat team does not wish to share. It benefits those who wish to exploit, cheat, hack, etc.

We are indeed done, good luck.
