It isn’t a scandal but it is crappy. Couldn’t they see how the leveling and scaling was working in the beta? Did they just ignore it?
They knew, they probably did care but obviously their focus wasn’t on ‘people are doing dungeons easily when they first start the expansion’ level of care. And the leveling changes also made it actually easier during the annoying 75-78 transition of gear upgrades and change. I don’t know how much they changed 70-75 but I honestly cannot imagine with the design around ilvl 300 being much different from the people in end-game gear from Dragonflight.

Mad? No. Annoyed. Yes, and at the end of the day I can complain to the skies as much as I want about it just like you can defend them. If you believe Blizzard didn’t purposefully do it, that’s fine. My stance is if they did or if they didn’t, they are still at fault. They are the ones who chose to do early access. Any issues that arise for them they deserve. Early access is just yet another form of cancer like lootboxes and gambling.
I wish early access wasn’t a thing, but it’s gonna be. I disagree anyone is negatively affected in any real way by abstaining. The leveling “nerf” is an improvement
And that’s the problem. I watched as horse armor for $1.99 morphed into $100 skins, mounts, extra space. It’s “only” 3 days this time, but what about in 5 years when early access means 30 days? You don’t think they wouldn’t do it? It is Blizzard. The same company that was sued for sexually harassing women which led to the suicide of one of those women. Or how they re-released Overwatch as Overwatch 2 to shove in microtransactions and then reneged on ALL promises made about Overwatch 2, cherry on top? They “deleted” Overwatch 1 so everyone would be forced to move to that mountain of garbage.

I still am leveling very fast, I do not really notice much of a difference.
It can be wonky, it has not changed noticeably in some areas but in others when I get more than 2 enemies I have to pop CD’s.
They disabled xp locking for level 70s.
I used to give Blizzard a lot of crap, and yeah, maybe some of it was deserved… But seeing all you crybabies whining over 3 freaking days makes me appreciate that Blizzard even bothers to make content for you ungrateful little #####. Seriously, I’m so pro-Blizzard now, it’s unreal.

We need to stop with the poor person insults. Yes I bought early access. I’m opposed to it but I bought it, because it was the only way to have Squally.
This favouritism is awful. I volunteer to have my level 80 reduced to 70 and have to play the same as others.
I doubt this is really any kind of scandal. Leveling was apparently too easy. Maybe it’s my spec but almost everything still falls over in like 2 hits. And I’m in greens.
Like… doing alot of damage isn’t really fun if you don’t even get past your resource builder.
