Just copy ELVui and make that the default UI.
Make a toggle in options for those weirdos that like to hamstring themselves with a terrible UI in favor of the “authentic experience”.

I’ve been playing for 10+ years. I’ve not used a single UI changer at all. I have no problems with the current UI.

Elvui is the worst piece of hoop.
Take everything Blizz made and replace it with borderless black windows.

Just because you like to play with an inferior UI thats on you. But if Blizz wants to bring in new players, they need to update the UI, because its hot garbage.

Please no, I’ve been trying dodge ElvUI basically since it existed. I don’t get the obsession, it’s ugly.
If you must have something like stock ElvUI, it should be an option and it should be off by default.

As opposed to default UI with garbage action bars and important information like YOUR HEALTH BAR, being shoved off into the corner of the screen that requires you to actually focus on it to get the information you need?

I’d like to interject real quick and point out that AzeriteUI exists
I like the style of the default UI even if some parts are lacking. I’ve gone back from using ElvUI because while it’s good, it doesn’t look like it fits WoW. So instead now I only use QOL addons that don’t change the way the UI looks. However I do move frames around so it resembles the layout of ElvUI
I had never heard of this before, this looks fairly interesting, reminds me of… I forget the name right now but the D3 inspired UI. Not enough buttons though, like if WoW had a combat system like GW2 or ESO then this UI would be super cool.

Honestly? The only reason I use elvui is the nameplates. I should probably just learn how to use plater and get rid of it as well as a bag addon. Beyond that the latency and FPS meter is nice, but there are ways to do that.
FWIW I turn off most of elvui’s skinning customizations.

Oh? I may have to give it a look. I like UIs that have textures that fit the style of the game rather than ElvUI’s sleek almost sci-fi style.
Honestly while I use Plater I thought the updated nameplates were pretty good (a bit ugly when you make them large). Bag addon though I suggest Combuctor. It consolidates all your bags but keeps the default look and feel so it doesn’t look out of place.
who gets to decide its inferior? You? It literally does not affect your performance at all.
