Blizzard needs to delay Shadowlands release to Jan-Feb of 2021

You can tell they are being pressured to release the game November, but the expansion is nowhere near polished. BFA needed about 2 more months and should have been released in October instead of August when it was. People won’t mind the expansion being released in 2021, but if Blizzard screws up again and releases a buggy unfinished expansion just cause Activision is pressuring them to do so, that will harm the brand and lose what loyalty they have left from WoW players.

No actually they don’t.   And I would mind very much.

I dont think it does.
I think they have enough time to polish it and get it out this year.

Yes actually they do. Or are you someone who believes BFA was actually ready for release when it was launched?

I don’t want another BFA. Take your time Blizzard.

BoA? do you mean BFA? cause it could have been delayed a whole year and it wouldn’t have fixed this dumpster fire of an expansion.

Covenants and soulbinds are nowhere near ready or polished and people want this expansion released in two months? Blizzard can’t afford to make the release a glorified beta like BFA was.

I think it was ready for release.
The only issue with it was azerite was awful and no one liked it. Otherwise the game didn’t have issues

Uh…yeah that’s the entire point. So you’d be okay with covenants and soulbinds being awful for release?

I don’t believe ANY amount of time would have fixed the problems with BfA. But this whole discussion is pointless since there isn’t going to be a delay.

Azerite was untested and rushed and the player base hated it. They are doing the same thing here.

I meant NO ONE liked azerite. You had to keep replacing your gear with better gear but if your heart wasn’t high enough your upgrade was a downgrade. Who could possibly enjoy that?

I like covenants as they are. They just need tuning and the last few bits put on beta but they’re probably already made as beta is always a few builds behind what blizzard has

NO amount of time or testing Azerite would have made it not be horrible. I can’t wait to destroy every single piece of it.

100% agreed.
By 8.2 they essentially scrapped the whole system.
In like 8 months they could not work out how to make it fun.

They’re releasing later than the last 2 expansions were.

It’s okay to be clueless

It really felt like BFA was in a constant state of beta.

I enjoyed azerite gear. The unique powers made playing multiple specs fun. Believe it or not, but people who play RPG’s can handle getting loot that they can’t immediately use. That’s why we slowly level up, and eventually get to reap the rewards of time spent playing.

Delaying doesn’t mean they can get this right, i mean look at reforged…

Not liking a system doesn’t make an expansion not ready. BFA for the most part was a smooth release. Some people didn’t like the Azerite system. That doesn’t mean it was broken.

I enjoyed it. It felt unique and fun but then I don’t count every point of damage when I make choices. Just those 10% again that had an issue.
