did you guys realize time over time now cata seems dying
they release retail ofc that not the problem back then they release som and hardcore server too during wrath / tbc
problem is they release another SOD retail and give privilage bout update to SoD which is seasonal
thats absurd
i know cata not many content to play they already know what they did wrong back then but at least we dont want p1 this long enough its better to do fireland since there is legendary people want to get rather p1 with so much loot and nerfed content
rather waitin 1 month till fireland release , just make the date and release it sooner
i know you gonna read this so please consider it , its really hard to fill raid because people already geared enough to do next phase and stop raiding
100% SoD got 2 PHASES while Cata got stuck with over 20 weeks of P1???
I agree I would rather have had P2 for 6 months to get the 14 casters in my raid there staffs vs spending 6 months in P1
Side note VERY POPULAR OPION - ZA and ZG is not a REAL PHASE!!! At best is a 1/2 phase and should have been released as such ( 6 weeks after P1 )
Also PLEASE DONT RELEASE Heroic + dungeons they are not needed especially when we have had the same raid content for 20 weeks ( 5 months ) and looking to be 24 weeks ( 6 months )
Umm what?? Heroic+ dungeons literally kept the dungeon scene alive for all of Wrath. They are sorely needed and should have been added a long time ago.
Also no, Firelands for 6+ months would be absolutely a death knell to the game. It’s a 7 raid boss that we will destroy in the first few weeks. It needs to be short af and so does DS. We need an ACCELERATED CADENCE and added content. No we don’t need 7000 legendary staves.
Add Heroic +, add Challenge modes, add M+, add a ton of content and go through the raids insanely fast. Then release MoP classic. People that can’t hang can go play Era with all the boomers.
We are already pushing 6 months of Phase 1 at least in Phase 2 Firelands we can get people Legendary’s.
I’m all for speeding through the content, but the fact remains that this is Week 20 of Phase 1, and we’ve only seen one buggy raid test for Firelands! ( 2 weeks ago with no further update) We’re most likely not going to see Firelands until the end of October, which is still five weeks away. That would put us at 25 weeks of Phase 1—six months in total.
If you want that trash go play retail!!!
“Boomers” You mean those born between 1946 and 1964 (currently aged 60-78), often struggle with basic computer tasks, let alone playing World of Warcraft. If you’re referring to the players who began their journey 20 years ago, you should be grateful. Without us, Retail wouldn’t even exist.
Wow no. Again go play era. Your opinion is awful. This is Cata classic. You don’t decide what classic is. The game needs more content like I listed above not less.
Vanilla: ZG was a 20-player raid that contained items and mounts no longer obtainable
Retail: ZG was reintroduced as a level 85 heroic dungeon in Cataclysm and later as a level 120 dungeon in Battle for Azeroth. The mechanics were updated, and the dungeon was scaled to fit the new level caps and gear requirements.
Zul’Aman (ZA)
TBC: ZA Also has a mount no longer obtainable
Retail: ZA was reintroduced as a level 85 heroic dungeon in Cataclysm. with a recoloring of the timed mount.
The original Naxxramas raid from Vanilla WoW is no longer accessible in the game. Items such as Tier 3 gear, Ashbringer, and Atiesh, along with its quest line, are no longer obtainable from Naxxramas. This is because the raid has been updated to the Wrath of the Lich King version, replacing the original 40-man raid
Except the changes made to Wrath pre-patch turned it into a wannabe retail version. A few things that absolutely ruined Wrath before it even began:
Buying the game gave you a free dk on any server without having to get to level 55 first - this allow botters / farmers to destroy the economies in ways never seen previously in classic.
Getting free mounts and flying mounts for buying the game. This dramatically impacted the leveling experience.
XP boost event(s) which allowed botters/farmers to more rapidly scale up operations with the free dks from buying the game.
Northrend supply boxes - these included pots/potions/elixirs/pets/mounts/food/gold - which impacted the speed of leveling and economy.
The patch selection and gearing changes ruined the cadence and made progression overly easy. Changes to Ulduar were made but those changes ended up impacting ToGC and ICC.
Making shadowmourne is easy to get.
The list goes on but Wrath was not in any way shape or form a ‘classic’ version of itself. It was just a weird Frankenstein kind of retail iteration that ended up not being a good experience.
The only two worthwhile changes in Wrath were the addition of the Retribution Paladin and Feral Druid Glyphs. Everything else was unnecessary and seemed aimed at attracting retail players to boost numbers, knowing the last version of retail was subpar
whats fun bout SoD anyways you just play that seasonal while this can be real into Mop classic even legion people who not play retail back then really love to follow the timeline ,
you cant tell people who play classic back then when at launch and suddenly jump to retail , thats so much difference in base of game play which i know retail is harder but
we want to play it back to classic timeline
p1 is too long just release p2 early
the ZG tiger is available through the Black Market Auction House, the raptor is still the same one that drops in the Cata dungeon
that did not happen
available through the black market Auction House
the ret paladin artifact weapon from Legion
so the only thing that was removed was the original Amani Warbear mount (removed on Wrath launch so nothing to do with the revamp to being a Cata dungeon) and Atiesh.
Your argument about acquiring items through the Black Market Auction House revolves around purchasing the at gold cap, as opposed to actually participating in the raid and hoping for the item to drop
The Ashbringer is an iconic weapon, whereas the Paladin artifact weapon from Legion, despite its similar appearance, lacks the same significance.
