I do my best
Maybe it’s gotten way worse in the past 2 weeks (stopped bothering with even a weekly 10 cause my char is basically done).
Otherwise, I call BS or hyperbole on this. I was queuing into weekly 10s solo on my 630+ Prot War, 2500 score only, never spent more than 5 minutes in the queue.
I agree there’s problems, and stuff blizzard should fix, and I bet LFG is a nightmare for solo DPS. But I just don’t buy your claim about 30 minutes as a 630 prot pally and you could only get an 8.
I enjoyed this game much more when there were normal and heroic dungeons there shouldn’t be all these levels of difficulty it should just be hard or normal if you need a higher difficulty tier go outside and touch grass
It’s super late in the patch and the change to crest drop made 8s completely obsolete to run.
I got a lot of comments on this, im at the point where im willing to record a timed run on getting invited to groups. Again, maybe its just me or the time of day i play. But healer or tank, it is on average 20 minutes for me to get into an appropriate key level group
they are still there. before m+ wasnt there to fill the gap between normal heroic and then raid. m+ was made to fill that gap and ease people along into raids. you can still choose to ignore it now even more than ever. specially with delves around.
i literally just ran a +10 and +3ed it. you can look it up on your prefered website.
saying it takes 30 minutes to get into a key as a tank or a healer is pure fabrication
i agree with a lot of your points but this is just not the case. the very top players are not being catered to in m+. a single wipe is not a brick in a +8 unless the group is significantly underperforming.
well, that’s an opinion, and my experience has been the opposite. I’ve had lots of fun and met tons of great people through m+ since i started playing it in SL.
Like i said, im willing to prove it.
Also, opinions aside. We can ALL agree DF S3 was objectively better in every capacity for M+. Numbers prove it, theres no debate on it.
Season 1 of an expansion is their one chance every 2 years to hook new/returning players back into perma-subbing more consistently. And they failed.
Now opinion: if you took the hype and initial playerbase of TWW launch with everything from M+ in DF S3, I can almost guarantee WoW wouldve broke an all time sub record.
Why are we taking steps backward and not forward?
M+ could use some changes, but this just can’t be true. At 620-625 ilvl I get into 10’s on my healers within a few minutes. If you’re not getting into anything above an 8 on a 630 meta tank with good IO you’re doing something wrong.
just did yet another 10+ took me about 1 minute to form it and 15 to run it.
i dont want to sound mean but its most likely a player problem. also sticking to 8s does not give you alot of options for good players. meanwhile everyone from 2500 to 3000 wants to run 10s and get vaults.
you over estimate how popular m+ is.
m+ has a playerbase big enough for blizzard to warrant being kept around because people finds it fun and its a good tool to fill gaps on gear while progressing on raids.
but its not even 20% of what the game has to offer. which baffles me because people act like m+ is the game and theres nothing else to do in wow besides it.
now specially with delves around i dont understand why people that are unable to play the mode for one reason or the other cant just ignore it. but instead double down on wishing for its death.
REAL QUICK: Apparently I only have a certain amount of likes on the forum per day, but dont worry everyone im reading them all and appreciate all the replies! You are loved xD
Anyway. Yeah I agree. I know M+ participation is technically “low” to begin with. Like i said, i stick to M+ and RP. The addition of Gilded crests in Delves next season will likely put a major damper on M+.
Annnnd this tells us all we need to know about how you formulate your opinions.
In order for m+ of DF S3 to have any effect, people would have to had experienced it to know its value.
Likewise, the hype of TWW is only there to those paying attention to WoW. And those paying attention to WoW is but a fraction of who used to.
In short, theres absolutely no way to surpass peak sub numbers.
- doesnt have a 630 prot paladin
- doesnt have “decent score”
- both
Take your pick
So i got curious and went and checked. OP does have a 630 Paladin, holy main. Followed by Ret. Prot bringing in the rear with only a 2300 io score.
Nothing against the OP but this would look like a fotm reroller looking for a carry. I’d probably pass as well
How slow the acquisition of crests via delves will be wont really affect that
This actually helps, raider io doesnt really make it clear that the addon separates roles. So is that why it takes me forever to get invited?? Like when i apply itll show the 2300 tank io and not the top io of 2600 or w/e?
Genuine question.
If so, that kind of dincentivizes us from trying out new roles or “taking one for the team”
Trying out new roles doesn’t mean start doing it at the top though.
You went from saying it’s suppose to be a game mode for kicking it back with friends and high fiving to I’m stuck in queues and can’t get invited by randos real quick.
Make friends, be social and play with these friends. All problems solved. Stop pugging if you want it to be a game mode about friends, fun, and high fives. You want it to be one way and then do the exact opposite.
Oh dont get me wrong, ive made plenty of friends even in this expansion alone. But not at a rate that it really should be for an MMO. Most people are just… cold. Even before the start of the key.
Also I dont think this abusive relationship some of you have with Blizzard of “they can do no wrong, I love them” isnt healthy or progressive for the game. Surely some of you can find ONE fault with M+. I see a lot of comments of “bro its fine the way it is.”
It isnt.
I believe so. Or itll show the role thats actually tied to the high score. Like it’ll your 2600 or whatever, but with a faded + behind it to show thats the role attached to the score.
Id have to look in game to actually verify
