No, it’s too early to do anything with a fresh Vanilla/TBC server unless they give it a gameplay gimmick to it like SoD.
Classic has also been on the decline since day one, it peaked in Vanilla no question, with less playing in TBC, even less in WotLK and now in Cataclysm even less than that. The core Classic players that you’re talking about here, are they the ones that are still playing or have they already left?
If you personally want Vanilla or TBC then just say that but you shouldn’t say that there’s a majority in wanting it. I don’t want it, I won’t play it if it gets added and I believe that most share that opinion just by the fact of Vanilla Era not keeping up numbers and that SoM failed (which was essentially just fresh Classic servers).
The only way people will play Vanilla, TBC or WotLK is if they put a twist on it as nearly no one would want a static server where it’s in the last phase of the expansion forever, there’d have to be resets or it’d get stale very quickly.

Idk what any of that Fresh Servers talk has to do with what I posted. I simply asking Badtankk why they feel like they can tell another player to not post here. This is a place for ALL WoW players.

Get real. Anyone can tell anyone what ever they want. I could tell you to stop posting here. I could tell you to go to Era, or SoD, or Retail forums. I could tell you to go to a place of fire and brimstone, I just can’t name that place. Unless of course, I’m talking about Molten Core. What no one can do is anything to make it happen.

Classic andies are some of the most entitled people you’ll find on these forums.
They still have their preferred version of the game but instead of just being happy with that they come into every new phase of classic and whine for fresh vanilla.

Personally I skipped DF because SL was such a bad expansion but maybe in 8 or 9 years when classic DF rolls around I’ll try it

DF got so boring for me. SL was fun for some but hated by many, maybe even most.
With DF once you level one toon, then each and every alt you make to level does the exact same thing. No way to choose your path. And the majority of the quests focus on gathering stuff, cooking stuff, saying how sorry you are for being so mean in earlier expacs. And then Dragonriding that got nerfed from being fun into the alpha to less fun in the beta and is now what it is in retail.
TWW I have high hopes for. DF though…its okay. More fun to be had in almost any other version of the game right now.
Yes and that will be the attitude of a lot of people in MoP Classic if they release that.
It’s mind boggling blizzard is still being passive aggressive about flying and refuses to just enable it normally.

Just because the game was popular back then no way proves at all it will be that popular again. You know how I know? They already launched fresh classic aka Season of Mastery in 2021, and all I have to say is YIKES if you look at the population of those numbers from the same Ironforge pro website.
Classic was super popular back in 2019 because it was the first time Blizzard was relaunching the classic version of the game, and it was hyped up to all hell by the community and content creators. I don’t need to see the future to know that something like this will NEVER happen again with a launch of a fresh classic server.
