Hpal is already weak and being carried by a single flavor of the month comp RMPally. Thanks Blizzard for making Hpal worthless with the sac nerf. Time to roll another healer as I won’t be able to find 3v3 groups if this nerf goes through.

Can’t ever be worse. As DPS you don’t get blamed for every single loss like healers do. Without 2 sac Hpally literally cannot heal competitively no matter how well they play. This is because they would no longer have the defensive CDs required to keep their team alive. Blessing Hands is a MANDATORY pick for HPAL to heal competitively. It is not optional.
As a hunter you can always just change spec. As a holy paladin that wants to heal the only thing I can do is change classes, which I am very bitter about. I don’t understand why blizzard nerfs things to irrelevance.

At least you make it to a loss. If I joined a group as MM they’d be like “just play survival retard jajajajaja.” There’s not a person alive who would que with a MM hunter in group finder.

And yea i get it but thats just the nature of the game. I play sub at at 2300 and then around there is when i have to stop because no one wants to deal with it. Just the nature of the game. Youll most likely be compensated with through put in pvp around week 3 of the new season but there’s nothing you can do about it right now.
Holy paladin isn’t the only class that has to deal with it, imagine being a warlock. Also I’m sure Holy paladin will be viable in 8.1.

Why are you so sure @Revir? As a DPS I don’t see why you would want to constantly lose by playing with a 1 sac paladin. Every game will have to be all in burst as paladin will have no longevity. Hell even at current meta paladin shouldn’t survive dampening games. We do not win long games since the moment our gimmick tools run out we are dead due to low throughput.

They keep nerfing Disc and Holypala to tune down RMP and RMPala but the fuc king mage (the biggest issue on the comp) stays untouchable

Oh man can you be anymore self centered. It’s 100X better to be a crappy healer than a bad dps. Groups who get tired of waiting for half an hour with gladly take a healer. Dps are a dime a dozen. You may get blamed for a loss but at least you’ll get a que. Holy smokes it’s not even comparable.
Secondly every healer is getting nerfed. Rshaman and disc are getting pretty harsh nerfs too. Rdruid already at the bottom will just be more even. I honestly think mw will be god tier. Not because of their kit. Simply because everyone is getting big nerfs and they’re getting buffs.
So stop crying. The sky isn’t falling. Healing is going to suck even more than it already does. You’ll get ques and be fine. Mm hunter who isn’t really getting touched still won’t.

Sorry not sorry that I want my class to be playable. The nerfs other healers are getting are minor. Sac is literally essential to holy paladin PVP. It is same as removing tree of life from Druid or Spirit Link from Shaman.

There is nothing irrational about the truth. It is a fact Sac is the #2 cooldown pally has, with #1 being bubble. They just absolutely gutted the effectiveness of it by 50%. Lets nerf spirit link by 50% then we can compare nerfs.
I think hpal will still be decent, I do hope we see some throughput changes though. Or maybe “spread the word” can be baseline so when dh/and shaman/priest/any blood elf/ mage dispels my bop it’s not a complete waste of a global. I get that bop CAN be strong. But it’s not, its honestly better as a cc break than anything else in this Meta. Any melee comp naturally has offensive dispels and any caster comp doesn’t care… but still has them. Sac is only necessary because 90% of comps will dispel bop immediately.

This, people (being the mouth breathers they are) dont think of the consequences of every healer feeling / being weak. They just wanna kill everything so they can feel good about themselves but when their healer gets nuked from orbit over and over they are gonna blame heals rage quit and keep losing. Also let’s not act like pruning is still a good thing. Like jfc are you brainlets not capable of looking ahead five minutes?
