Blizzard literally creating mazes to prevent us from opening tickets

This is hilariously hostile to the playerbase. How about not flat out harassing your paying customers and let us open a ticket without having to spend 20 minutes finding the open ticket button.

I agree it can be a pain to get to the “submit a ticket” button, but they do it because most issues can be solved by the knowledgebase or wowhead.

Part of me understands. there are some frequent problems that can be automated and fixed… Their ticket times are ridiculous.

But it’s true you kind of have to look for a minute. Heaven help somebody who’s doing it for the 1st time.

There is 0 reason to open a ticket. If you’re looking for info just use wowhead. If you have a problem, they will do absolutely nothing for fix it.

Its unfriendly to new players. Old ones are used to jumping these hoops lol

The ticket system was designed this way as much of it is automated now and their few remaining humans handling it are swamped. Blizzard would rather make the experience worse than hire more people and pay them a living wage.

100% true or a simple google search. But no one ever wants to do that. Eeven notice how people complain or the forums or ask random people on facebook in their facebook groups instead of spending 3 seconds on a google search? We have all this information at our finger tips yet for some reason folks are to lazy to use it lol.

With that said… To play devil’s advocate I somewhat get it. You are upset and want to speak to a GM to feel your particular problem is solved correctly

I can still see the free days they gave us for server downtime and extended maintenances in my transaction history.

Those days are long gone.

What if I told you that in some cases that’s exactly how they fix them?

Considering how useless they are they might as well just get rid of the remaining employees.

What ignorance. You must be young.

Blizzard GMing used to be far better as they actually hired human beings to do it.

Sorry Fulgrim

You being stuck between rocks because you blinked without thinking where you’re going doesn’t give you expedite service

Hearth out

Im old, and its not because there were people that answered tickets. It’s because they were originally empowered to do it. People however are animals and will try to exploit the system. Every time systems get exploited rules are created to keep it from happening. Eventually they just remove the ability of CS to allow people to exploit it. The only thing CS does now is to tell you to report bugs, look stuff up on third party websites and feeble attempt to placate customers.

I dont go there much so I dont care. The point is they dont give us support then send us to an ad ridden garbage hole.
point clear now?

Too bad they don’t use some of that massive WoW token yacht money to hire more staff to answer tickets.

Because they want you to use your brain and see if the question has already been answered to avoid you making unnecessary work for the CS team.

Part of the problem they run into is players whining that “they didn’t answer my question”, when they did, but the player didn’t like the answer they were given.

The support system is set up to take you through steps that may be able to help, usually because the problem you’re having isn’t something a GM can solve.

What is the problem you’re having? Have you tried the CS forum to see if we can help?
