Ground Mounts are pretty much useless in this day and age, especially as Flying is unlocked so early now.
If we can have Flying ponies running in the Sky then why can’t my Wolf fly? There’s no excuse for not letting all Mounts fly in this modern age.

Sure, make a lot of the mounts in the future capable of flying by default, but look, mounts like the Brutosaur, various Mammoths, the Yak mounts etc etc. They should stay on the ground.
Flying horses are a thing in fantasy mediums, have been for a long time. So they’re not really a problem.
To be fair they also have a magic flying rat, rabbit, ox, and some of the horses don’t even have wings. Magic purple fox.

A regular horse should not be able to fly. A 5-ton kodo should not be able to fly. A 20-ton brutosaur should definitely not be able to fly. The game needs limits to prevent it from becoming a parody of itself, or even more thereof, depending on how you view its current state.

A simple fix although awkward looking would be to give us a “harness” that looks similar to the Goblin Glider’s from engineering.
Or… a step further would be to just develop something along the lines of a goblin or gnomish engineering harness with the engineering profession that gives us a “Mechanized Flying Apparatus” go all out with a more interesting design but with animated wing flapping motions and little animated gears/belts/pulleys to sell the whole effect.
They really need to give us mount equipment like rocket boots or jet pack that allows ground mounts to fly…I want a flying motorcycle so bad lol

I’m fine with there being some ground mounts, especially when it makes zero sense for some to fly.
However, there are some ground mounts that should be flying mounts. Any mount that’s undead / spectral should fly. Blanchy, Fallen Charger, Spectral Tiger, Spectral Wolf, Fiery Warhorse (aka Midnight), etc.
You are playing a game where there are magic goat people and talking crystals. Stop trying to act like anyone cares a wolf can fly. Having ground mounts is no sensical now since you can fly at lvl 10. I have not seen a ground mount be used in forever. It basically makes any ground mount they create wasted art time beccause no one will ever use it because you can fly in 99% of the content.
