Blizzard is making everyone an Elf before giving us Real Quel'dorei

i dont think we are getting alliance high elves. in tww intro, a warband is shown, and an alliance blood elf is standing there. its not a helf cause the jewelry is belf. its an alliance belf

That’s a misconstrued comparison, as there’s many generations separating Americans to the English …

Not to mention they’re naming their people as a race — Not a nationality … Otherwise you’d have the Blood Elves in Outland all like “Nono I’m an Outlander Elf” - or the Sunreavers who lived in Dalaran as “Nono we’re Dala-Elves.” :joy: lol

Also, unlike the UK & the US:

Like I said earlier —

Not to mention the name ‘Blood Elves ’ was decreed towards the sacrifice of their people … Not the founding of a new location or classification to people of a specific nation.

That doesn’t make them a different tribe. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Like I said, race and tribe are different …

“Which you’d know if you had any critical thinking.”

Alright if we’re going to bring the numbers game into this — You do realise, by lore-standards — The High Elves are significantly small … Right?

Heck, it’s even said in one of the books (Night of the Dragon, pg. 7) that the proclaimed ‘High Elves’ are an all but extinct race of their people.

:face_exhaling: Personally however, Blizzard are terribly poor at acknowledging numbers when it comes to races – so it’s a rather dead argument upon both sides.

It was a mock statement lol, it’s not meant to be literate.

The original statement to my ‘Post source’ was directed @ those who were indicating the Quel’Dorei were going to be an entire tribe & thus ultimately equalise to them becoming an Allied race.

Stating they’re simply going to be present, and may be within a tribe or so – Is an understandable one. So perhaps this was just a misunderstanding, however the tonality from the start came across rather patronising & aggressive.

Point & case.

Admittedly I haven’t helped either on that front, so I can acknowledge that fault of mine too.

Also I’ve quite literally provided links to my sources & quotations so the argument stating I don’t know anything is more of an attempt for a personal attack than anything of substance truth.

I never said they wouldn’t be in Midnight. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
My overall argument that started this whole reply-chain, was that ‘Quel’Dorei’ haven’t be confirmed yet as a classified tribe … Which they haven’t.

They may be within one, but they’re not confirmed as a tribe by their name ‘Quel’Dorei’ or ‘High Elves’ alone.

… Getting the vibe this was a grand misconceived, misunderstood / interpreted conversation & things just got heated as they went on, but I suppose that depends on the reply or if there’s going to be anymore jabs. lol

Honestly, that’s what I actually advocated for in another thread.
— For the elves to unify & the remaining ‘High Elves’ embrace the name of ‘Blood Elves’ and then become a neutral race.

I mean, it’s not too far fetched given Lor’Themar almost joined the Blood Elves under the Alliance with Varian in MoP - until Jaina went on her killing spree in Dalaran  lol

On the point of numbers, that logic says Void Elves shouldn’t be playable then, since they were originally described as a crack squad with Alleria as their leader.

I find it hilarious how some are abusing the flag system only for the mods to unflag my topic.

This will be the 3rd time already. Some of y’all are sad.

Hey, please don’t confuse the majority of High Elf fans with the ones that usually spend time trolling the forums. The vast majority are happy with what we got, and have moved on, while some have remained on the forums continuing to beat the particles of the dead horse.

You were Quel’dorei one day and Sin’dorei the next.

I hope they kill off all the elves so the elf nerds will shut up

There was a BIG cultural/political difference between Quel’dorei and Sin’Dorei. The Sin’Dorei embraced FEL as a substitute for the arcane energies from the Sunwell that had recently been destroyed. And Silvermoon STILL have plenty of fel crystals around even now when the Sunwell has been repaired as an Arcane/Light mixed power source. Yes, you can now give your bloodelf yellow eyes indicating that the fel green has been washed out but most of them still have green eyes.

The Sin’Dorei has been massively reformed beginning with their paladins no longer stealing power from a captured Naruu but there is still a divide. The easiest thing to do is simply to admit that the difference is cultural, and some prefer the old ways and that should be ok.

The sun would have to explode before that would happen and even then the odds are good it wouldn’t stop them.

so true.,…we want playable high elves. Now!

blood elves are sin’dorei not quel’dorei. No need to make troll post about it.

People want to play high elves such as silver covenant high elves.
