that definitely ain’t truth. i remember when mike pence said a pizza place were my mom lives could refuse serving lgbt and when they came out he went on vacation literal vacation in hiding lol when he was governor you are definitely not going to get away with religious stuff either without it being reverted unless they just didn’t care.

When better games come out, people will. Right now, WoW is probably one of the best games in its genre, even including FF14, but yeah though they can and if they removed the chat entirely sure, that would probably be better at that point. Like I said, they might as well go all the way and remove all chat from the game; no NPC lines, no text at all in the game, just pick characters and fight, because anyone can be offended at literally any and everything anyone and anything ever says or just put everyone’s personal info over their avatars.

except you don’t understand it only applies to the government.

look at the wavy part. the entire sentence ends at this point because that it what all the stuff applies to.

And thou readst not to what I am replying. Here, I shall thee accommodate:

They are not talking about corporations, they are talking about hate speech under the First Amendment.

So
Im guessing this is different from the filter thing I already have disabled?

Next time you guys see a Klan or New Black Panthers march, be sure to tell them that. Seriously, people should not talk about things they don’t understand.

Look at you two arguing about freedom of speech, and your rights, inside a privately owned company with a tos that you agree to, to even access their servers.

Bill of rights and first admendments lol.

Hate speech is very much protected under the 1st amendment. Don’t know where you’re getting your information.

Except that you’re not actually understanding what people are referring to and taking it all 100% literally, but here;

Definition of freedom

1**:** the quality or state of being free: such as

a**:** the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action

b**:** liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another : INDEPENDENCE

c**:** the quality or state of being exempt or released usually from something onerousfreedom from care

d**:** unrestricted usegave him the freedom of their home

e**:** EASE, FACILITYspoke the language with freedom

f**:** the quality of being frank, open, or outspokenanswered with freedom

g**:** improper familiarity

h**:** boldness of conception or execution

2a**:** a political right

b**:** FRANCHISE, PRIVILEGE

(webster)

So, in that first part “the absence of necessity, coercion, or restraint in choice or action” - guess which most people refer to for that phrase? “You are free to do as you please, and you accept all consequences that come your way as a result” –

who uses in game chat systems anyway?
they killed that off with the communities and guilds stuff they then ignored and dustbunny.
For like 90% of the stuff they do We use external stuff like discord now anyway.

The remaining 10% is those telling someone their io is too low for them to bother with, right?

The five freedoms it protects: speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. Together, these five guaranteed freedoms make the people of the United States of America the freest in the world.
Before agreeing to accept the Constitution, the Founders of our democratic republic demanded that these freedoms be protected by an amendment to the original document – the First Amendment.
There’s no “legal age” you have to reach to exercise your First Amendment freedoms. They are guaranteed to you the day you’re born. There’s also no citizenship requirement for First Amendment protection. If you’re in the U.S., you have freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly and petition.
The First Amendment is neither “left-wing” or “right-wing.” It can be used to push for social and political change, or to oppose change. The First Amendment is for everyone.
The First Amendment protects us against government limits on our freedom of expression, but it doesn’t prevent a private employer from setting its own rules.
The First Amendment prevents government from requiring you to say something you don't want to, or keeping you from hearing or reading the words of others (even if you never speak out yourself, you have the right to receive information).
Students have the right to pray in America’s public schools, as long as there’s no disruption to school operations and no government employees (teachers, coaches) are involved.
