Blizzard is broken

Ok, this is a major issue. The delay on blizzard and permafrost being detected is unacceptable. I don’t understand why it’s coded to be working this way. I’ve had multiple mobs AND players run right through blizzard as it’s being channeled without being hit by it one time. CAN YOU PLEASE fix this. It’s extremely game-breaking and makes things so tedious.

I know I saw some bliz commentary somewhere or other, but basically ice traps and channeled aoes work in hidden “pulses” and mobs/players can safely run through between those pulses without it triggering.

If I remember right this is by design, to keep the #nochanges crew happy for how pvp worked in vanilla or somesuch. I understand the frustration though.

I think the problem is lots of these events are still delayed compared to how it was in vanilla. Warlock’s pyroclasm proc is another one. It has a big delay now between the spell hitting and the proc applying. It was always instant.

From what I’ve heard, this isn’t how it actually worked in vanilla. EVEN if it was how it worked, it shouldn’t have. Should really be fixed. I know it wasn’t completely “blizzlike” but nostalrius, blizzard worked perfectly.
