Just got datamined and posted on wowhead that blizzard is adding achievements to tbc. This is too dumb please shop mounts and achivements why cant they just wait till wotlk to ruin the game. Check the front page of wowhead

Because from what I saw they added the code to track information for achievements. It in no way shape or form means that achievements are in the game. It simply means that if they add achievements then things that would have been retroactively earned will automatically be covered.

It makes sense. There is virtually nothing to do in classic forever, unless you’re a speed runner. All in all, classic forever realms are going to be pretty dead.

Achievements are a great addition to TBC IMO.
I’ve always liked looking at them, are we going to be able to link them in chat?
Also, Are we going to be able to link our professions in chat??

That’s why we want seasons, like diablo except no theme. Just give us fresh every once in awhile and let us drop old characters off on the “forever realm” if we ever want to go back to them.

I don’t get why people care about achievements either for or against. I never cared about them and the only achievements I got were the ones I got from just playing the game. I never looked them up and tried to get them. I also didn’t care that other people did things to get them. If it was fun for them no problem. It didn’t affect or hurt my game play at all.
