Blizzard - If you want us to play, you have to make it fair

Blizz has made the pvp experience awful. I think they are out of touch with the insulting term “casual” players.

Why would casual players be a discriminatory term? I’ve always just thought for it to mean people who don’t play 40 hours a week, and maybe who don’t do rated/harder content (in most cases).

On one of them, for example, the entire horde side couldn’t get more than three kills.

That’s not about my gear or my play. That’s just gear that doesn’t belong in unrated battlegrounds unbalancing play to the point of ridiculousness.

If I recall I got something like 65 honor out of that run.

65 goes into 1500 (does math) a whole lot more than 4 times.

That’s how OP the other side was.

I’ve been in more than one 10-player-per-side with numbers nearly that bad.

Again, in any battleground where there is NOT an obviously overgeared group, where the top three “damage done” aren’t all on the other side and orders of magnitude higher than our side, I’ve got a decent w/l record.

We went into Epics this week and won six straight, mostly by understanding the mechanics of those particular battlegrounds. The two we lost at the beginning and the two at the end, the top five players (all on the other side) were all doing orders of magnitude more damage than the entirety of our team. Even in Epics it matters, although it takes more OP players to disrupt play.

But especially for the ordinary battlegrounds (the non-Epics) two or three massively overgeared players can effectively shut down the other side with little more effort than camping their graveyard (and yes, we ran into that in the mines and in WSG more than once - literally none of us could get out of the respawn area alive).
