Blizzard I’m begging you. Please give us RDF

I just really want RDF. It would make the entire leveling experience including leveling alts so much more fun.

Keep it server only, not cross realm. Everything you want regarding community building can be achieved so long as it’s not cross realm

At least make cross realm a toggle or like a 10 minute timer on realm only before it opens up to cross realm for people who play odd hours etc…

  • Take away the 5% bonus to damage / healing and health

  • Take away the bonus token incentive

None of these reasons are why I want rdf and I think most people could agree that they aren’t necessary we just want a queue and auto match function that puts us in a dungeon with 4 other people and puts us back where we were when we’re done!

There is no way at this point that blizzard isn’t aware majority want RDF, whether or not they care is another story

It can also be achieved if they allow premades through form through battlenet tags. Wanna add people from other servers and run again with them some day? Just add them via battlenet

no we dont want it not gonna get it and we glad

Remove every aspect of RDF, even LFG tool. We do not need them

I see you are still claiming a majority want it with no good data to back it up.

That’s a good question. Wonder why Blizzard hasnt released an in game poll asking their paying customers what they would like

If I was to guess I’d wager most people want it.

My whole guild except for like 4 people wanted it and we got 2 raid teams.

Just going off everyone I have ever met, or talked to, and all the people that those people have ever talked to, As well as numerous forum posts, and twitch chats, and basically every metric outside of an official poll that we will never see.

What can we base it off of besides the data available to us, and also I mean just common sense.

It’s pretty common for Blizzard. Things can be made clearly obvious, constructive feedback can give hard data, and they still don’t act on it until the final moment - or beyond.

Choose one:

  • A majority wants it, which means this removal is a bad decision.
  • The majority doesn’t want it, which means the social interaction will remain regardless of the tool being added, so there is nothing to preserve by removing it, it just helps a small but significant portion of the player base.

People follow the path of least resistance.

I dont really want to fly when i visit family that lives far away (i get bad motion sickness even with medicine), but the time it would take without flying is to long so i fly.

People will chose efficency even if it makes the game toxic and unfun to play. Just look at the parse meta, the world buff meta, exc.

So even if the majority do not want rdf, they will use it if added, because of efficency.

And i am not claiming a majority either way. Blizzard has claimed the majority of their target audience do not want it. Thats their claim. When the pro rdf people claim the majority do want it they have given “data” that isnt secure or reliable. The open vote internet polls are VERY easy to compromise, let alone the fact that people who are upset are FAR more likely to look for an outlet like a poll to express their views over someone who is content. The wow forums have the same issue. One account can put 50 likes onto a post to make it look like it has more support than it does, let alone changing to multiplw forum alts to post in a thread to give the appearance of more support through "different " people supporting it with their posts.

None of the data provided by the pro rdf group to “prove” the majority want it is even remotely reliable or secure.

You’re welcome to argue against RDF all you want, I really don’t care, but it’s disingenuous to pretend like we don’t know which is more popular

I posit however that the reason for the massive adoption you predict is that, unlike in your RL example, RDF doesn’t really differ all that much from manual grouping in the actual dungeon experience, and the small group-making experience where it differs isnt really relevant to most. So its not that big of a compromise for most people, even those who like making groups the old way.

Not to mention that nothing stops people from manually grouping and then queuing for RDF.

I agree. PLEASE!!

We both know blizzard has no data on the subject.

I have gotten every single beta and survey and not 1 had anything about RDF.

You using it as data is disingenuous just like them using it is disingenuous.

There was no poll.

Wait in what xpac were you able to just chain pull entire rooms …

I remember coming back briefly in one of the retail xpacs and freaked out when the tank pulled the entire sfk courtyard.
